So anything really notable on the club stages? I really enjoyed Hinds last year.
In 2010 I spent a good portion of my Roo at the Cafe Stages. Without exploring the artist adds, I doubt anything other than Jay Som would get me there, if I was attending.
Jay Som is cool, I like her more than a bunch of people on the actual lineup. Collier is pretty tight, he won arrangement Grammy's this year, his Flinstones cover is solid. Blossoms was probably the next best one off of my very quick listens. Mt. Joy seems cool, Astrovan is pretty great.

Really excited about Blossoms being added. I figure they'll be one of the first acts at Coachella and theres a 95% chance I will be too hungover to see them. Hopefully they get a spot on Thurs or Saturday at Roo.

Was Warpaint on the original lineup? I see they released dates and it says Bonnaroo.
Nope! That's a new add!! And a good one!!!
Also a group that had supposedly been confirmed before the lineup release. That makes me think Bonnaroo literally withheld names just for the effect of releasing them later - is that usually the case with late adds? I've always figured they were actually artists that weren't initially booked.

So are we hoping for Avalanches again, you think?
If the Avalanches appear on the lineup, I instantly go from meh to happy. And yes, my hopes are certainly up right now.

If we're noting the demotions to the club stages, then would we be looking at adds to take those acts places?
Warpaint replaces Goody Grace on Saturday, then say Revivalists and Avalanches replace Albin Lee Meldau and Nightly on Friday, and K. Flay replaces Ten Fe on Thursday?? Just going off of bands I've heard mentioned as "confirmed"

I think it'd be safer to not expect anything positive from Bonnaroo at this point. Let something like Warpaint being added surprise you.

Where does one start with Warpaint? I've really struggled to find anything interesting about them in the past, but I don't think I ever gave it a real shot.

Their first ep is still my favorite. The last couple albums are very different from that. They're a lot more dancy now. I still enjoy them a good bit.

Warpaint is truly hit or miss IMO. Some really good early stuff but newer stuff is kinda meh to me
I guess it's just based on taste, but I much prefer their newer material compared to their early stuff. They have def moved towards a more upbeat, synth-based sound but I think it's pretty damn fun live. FYI, don't expect to hear a ton of old stuff, saw them last month and they only played 2-3 songs from the first album.

Self-titled album for me. Love is to Die and Biggy were the first to grab me. Disco/Very is probably my favorite track though.
