I'm still having horrible connectivity issues, and it seems to be getting worse. After minutes of scanning for wifi, my connection was finally found but can never connect. This has been happening for at least the last two days. Sometimes it will connect on its own after being in a Zelda session for a while, but not today. I've got to undock the system and take it in front of my router to even get it to connect. At least there aren't a whole lot of reasons to even go online yet, but this could get fatally annoying, in terms of my ability to enjoy this system in the future.

Ouch. Is it just in docked mode you're having issues? There's been some people that have reported interference when in docked mode, moving their docks resolved some peoples issue.

I highly recommend the pro controller. It has been my favorite part of the switch (so far) aside from BotW. It is light years better than the xBox One controller and comparable to the PS4. I think I read where you can even use it for PC gaming.

Since I only play this docked, from my experience that's when it happens. I can't really move the router or the docked console itself to one another, but I found a sort-of solution; manually inputting my ip info fixed it immediately. Don't know why that's an issue, but it worked.
As for the pro controller, I'm totally cool with the joycon piece, but I do plan on eventually getting a pro controller. And yes, I've heard you can use it on PC as well, so that's cool.

Sounds like you might have something else on your network with a static IP address. That or your router is having a hard time assigning an address to the switch for whatever reason.

+1, I love my pro controller. I used it for the entire week I got it without plugging it in. And I read the same thing about using it for PC. It is definitely one of my favorite controllers of all time, if not my favorite. I've gotten to where I just take my switch and pro controller to work. I'll be happy when someone comes out with a holder to attach the switch to the pro controller. Like This
According to my play activity I've put "60 hours or more" into Zelda. A lot of times I'd feel like that is too much, but I've just been enjoying it all so I don't care.

Same here. I've always had a nasty habit of just pausing a game when I need to do something else. I don't THINK I've spent that much time on it, but it's entirely possible.
I woke up this morning and first thing, I finished the fight (you can shatter the blocks and spiky balls with your ice block move)! Then I spent an hour or two solving the Elephant puzzles... I love the puzzles in this game... Then I did some weekend yard work. Then I got back to what was "important"... trying to uncover memories (I uncovered two memories and did like 5-6 shrines).
Since the switch isn't region locked I made an account for the Japanese eshop and downloaded the puyo puyo tetris demo. It's been my life the last few days. I can't wait for the full game to come to the US next month.

Maizy just went for a run in the rain. As she was leaving I ran outside to yell, "REMEMBER! METAL WEAPONS ATTRACT LIGHTNING!"
I don't know how to post picture from my phone, but I snapped one this morning of a a very red sun rising while it was still sort of dark. Hard to explain. Sent it to the GF asking her to please be careful.
I'm just milking this game for all it's worth. I've still only done two beasts. But I've got 80 something shrines done, found all the fairies, found all the memories. I'm just kind of going back through and working through all the side quests that different people I've talked to have given me at this point. I'm going to try to do all the shrines before doing anymore divine beasts. They're getting more and more difficult to find though.

I'm also milking this game dry. I have only done 1 divine beast and maybe 40 shrines. I just unlocked every section of the map the other day, and I feel like there are so many places I haven't been to because I've been paragliding over everything. I'm also working a lot more than I have in the past, so I only get to play for an hour or so every day. I'm so used to binge playing open world games and then getting burnt out, but I'm really liking this slower pace.
I'm having to take a BotW break... Dark Souls III DLC comes out this week and I'm having to prepare myself for it.
I hope Zelda can hold off for a little while. She is probably binge-watching TV up in Ganon's cell anyway. Probably eating better than Link's apples trying to save her, too...

2 beasts and 2 memories left. I am about to do the camel. The recovery quest that leads up to it is a bit challenging, but fun.
I dumped all of my orbs into stamina, since boosting health is so easy with food (Hearty Dorian, noms). I did have to go and offset it to 10 extra hearts temporarily

Christ that quacking camel was hard. 115 shrines and 3 beasts down and I don't think i can stretch this game until Mario Kart comes out. I'll probably break out the guide to figure out what shrines I'm missing and wrap things up this week. I will not be trying to get all the korok seeds.
When I first tried my magnetic move, I somehow didn't notice the spikes were clickable. Then if you try to block his attacks during the last phase, you just drop your shield.
Right now I'm working on maxing my armors. My stealth armor is 4 star.
they look pretty cool. And the fierce diety link in BoTW is pretty slick. You can find the leaked Amiibo data already and copy it to your own ntag215. I just finished upgrading mine all the way.
I can't tell. But does it look like the bumper buttons are attached to the extended battery? If not I'd probably pick up a set for better handheld ergonomics.
Enough about Zelda... 2 more weeks for Mario Kart!
Zelda may have taken over my life and catastrophically dropped my quality of play in mafia, but now things seem to be dying down. I still havent finished Zelda but I have no intention of truly completing this beast till hard mode and the extra story comes out.
Anyway LETS GET HYYYYYYPE for MK8. This is the game that my friends keep asking when its coming out because there are no online multiplayer games with friend support (that are good so far). We definitely need to do some races/battles with inforoo, maybe even get a inforoo tournament started up
