Either there are some lower level adds for earlier in the day (or maybe larger adds, HA) or the music at Bonnaroo is starting this year later than ever or the breaks between sets are even longer than previous years.

So do we think they'll have a tent completely dedicated to Hip Hop and EDM every day? If so which tent would it be?
I vote for the other tent, or that tent so it contains itself a bit.
Other makes the most sense for this. Combined with Kalliope and Xmas Barn it could be it's only little EDM area, which would be great for the people that enjoy it, and also great for the people that don't enjoy it. You'd expect the EDM dedicated tent to have slightly more base production, which is fairly simple to implement. Also, it would cut down on transition times between acts, at most EDM fests you see 5-10min changeovers, if they did this at Roo it'd allow for longer DJ sets due to the reduction in transition time.
I'm good with this. Portugal v CVS v gallant sucks but workable. Flume v Future Islands is fine, easy split with those times. Other minor things but seems best case scenario.

Saturday late night seems lacking in my musical taste. Also Umphreys and Greensky Bluegrass at the same time Sunday would be an all time worst conflict

Yeah but I don't know what to do about Saturday late night. I can only work with what's on the lineup.
What 𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕔𝕒𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕒 said, really the only big conflict for me would be Cage and Kiwanuka. I really hope the What is scheduled like this Friday & Saturday, Glass Animals > XX > U2 and Cage > Chance > RHCP would be perfect
Like others have said, this definitely seems ideal. But also far from realistic unfortunately. Consistently, I see low-billed acts playing late in the day. Thursday might best exemplify that - highly doubt Ten Fé & Twiddle headline a tent.

You're probably right. I'm not super familiar with a lot of the Thursday acts and most of them are already billed super low on the lineup. There doesn't seem to be any real "buzz band" on Thursday so it's hard for me to figure out who would close a tent. I have a similar problem for the daytime shows the rest of the weeeknd because as you said there are super low billed acts playing late in the day, but I literally made the day schedule by ranking the billing order and having the higher billed acts play later. But then made some adjustments to not have super obvious conflicts and tried to have the most interesting acts closing out the tents.

Twiddle could definitely close a tent out.
It would make up for not letting Dopapod and Papadosio close out the last two years.
This would be near perfection for me, as my days would look like:
Thurs EDEN -> Ten Fe -> July Talk -> The Orwells -> Ookay
Fri Stick Figure -> Barclay Crenshaw -> Kaleo (partial) -> Tove Lo (partial) -> Cold War Kids -> The xx -> Glass Animals (or get in U2 pit line) -> U2 -> Claude VonStroke -> Portugal The Man
Sat Big Jesus (depends on the hangover) -> Tegan & Sara -> Cage The Elephant -> The Front Bottoms -> Matoma -> RHCP -> Future Islands -> Superjam
Sun Milky Chance -> Skepta (partial) -> Royal Blood (partial) -> Crystal Castles -> Lorde -> Umphrey's McGee -> The Weeknd

I don't think you'll see any downtime on the new stage. Most EDM acts transfer to the enxt act seamlessly with no turnover. The only exceptions to this would be Big Gigantic and possibly Goldfish, as they use live setups.

That is what I was hoping for. Most EDM shows I go to are like this with no gap.

EDM acts never do this.
They actually do though...have you ever been to Ultra, Movement, EDC, etc? There's usually no turnover among DJs and usually 10-15mins between live acts.

Have you ever been to Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lolla? There's always time between EDM sets.
