I don't think it's fair to compare an all day stage to some horrible late night all bass machine. Bonnaroo wants you to walk around, pass food vendors, pass clothes vendors, pass beer vendors, and buy everything under the sun. They want those set breaks.

This new stage is meant to replace Kalliope, and they keep stressing that it's an "all-night" stage. I don't see them starting acts at 230pm like the other tents when it's going to be a stage with no shade and people going hard, I think they're a little smarter than this. I have a feeling this stage will be "dark" until 5-6pm each evening.

What does this have to do with time between sets?
If they start the stage later there wouldn't be time for set breaks, nor would they be needed.

i agree with this, the step they're making with edm and the other stage just means they don't need kalliope around. not trading one for the other
honestly i'd be pretty shocked if borgore and yellow claw or that stage at all is still going during the weekend. just my two cents, i mean i really don't care that much lol
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Not bad, your Saturday is perfect for me because I'd be able to see The Front Bottoms > Tegan & Sara > Chance the Rapper > Rezz > and Shpongle, which is every artist I want to see on that day. Personally, I would switch Car Seat Headrest and The Strumbellas so Car Seat Headrest could have a more intimate set inside a tent. Plus The Strumbellas seem better suited as a midday Which Stage act, but that's my just my nitpick. Also I don't think Illenium should be late night since he's one of the main DJs and wasn't announced as a late night act.

and obviously none of us have a clue what the scheduling will be like for the other stage but i would find it hard to believe it goes that much through the headliners. scoot em both out a little and move illenium somewhere else (i don't fucking know where) and you got it

I'm just having a hard time imagining what the timing would be of these sets on the other if it's dormant during headliners and there are only 2 late nights? I can't imagine the other really going on at 2pm.
I'll try something and it'll probably be terrible, but I'll try.
My updated schedule. I guess The Other will go on during the headliners unless they start earlier or get short sets.
I hope Claude ends up as the last act on the other and has the chance to go all night (not that they'd let him, but I'd rather end my night with him than anyone else that night).
