Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
What's a non-festival vacation? I'll have to look into that.
dunno, but one time i saw Alan Parsons play a show at Epcot. i think its something like that.
Fun fact: Back when Austin Powers came out, a friend and I went to a busy showing at a local theater. Out of all the people in the theater, we were the only people who laughed when they made the Alan Parsons Project joke.

had to google it to remember the joke.
I completely forgot Rob Lowe was in that movie.
EDIT: and for anyone not familiar with Alan Parsons, I recommend you put on I Robot and listen to it loud. just let it happen.

No. I live too far away now and can't justify the cost of travel and time off work. I'd probably still go if I lived close because Bonnaroo is a blast, I usually find cheap tickets on Craigslist, and my group is likely still going. Missing Chance The Rapper on the What stage is going to suck.
Travel cost from all the way up in NY included - I can't support a line up without at least ONE of the best albums of 2016 on it. This is the sad dump off of nostalgia mixed with what's pop right now; instead of striving for uniqueness that would gain a proper audience.
Leaning no. The lineup doesn't do much for me, but my cost to go is pretty low. Might try a new festival or a non-festival vacation (gasp) if Bonnaroo doesn't happen.
My brother and his girlfriend did one of those all-inclusive Groupon vacations to the Dominican Republic (I think that's where it was anyway). They seemed quite pleased with their trip.
I will not be attending Bonnaroo this year, which will be a big change from my not attending Bonnaroo for the last nine years.
* After enduring my propaganda for many years, a friend decided to buy a ticket for her fiance for his birthday and asked me to go with him so I felt like it wasn't really optional.
* U2. My second favorite musical experience was seeing them in 2001. Plus, a ticket to see them isn't much less than a festival ticket.
* My current count is six acts that I'm excited about and another twenty-three that I might be interested in checking out, though I haven't dug into the lineup too much yet.
* It's what I do. I've gone to the last thirteen. The FOMO would be torture.
* A day at a below average Bonnaroo is still better than most regular days in my life (family time excepted).
* Due to a family development, it's now looking highly likely that I won't be back in 2018.
It was always a stretch for me since it's a 6-day trip and 1200+ miles, and not getting enough Street Team points for a ticket this year is the nail in the coffin. I'm not spending a week and $1000 on that lineup, even though I've loved Bonnaroo in the past and still do in many ways.
Yes. A group of 10 of my friends and I all bought presale tickets. They all buy into the radiate positivity crap we all say ironically here so they are all super excited. I'll still have fun obviously but I can already tell there's going to be hours were there is nothing I wanna do.
I'm going because it's the best option for me to see a lot of bigger name acts. Where I'm at the biggest thing happening this summer is a "90s tour" with Coolio, Vanilla ice and Salt N Pepa. Which I'll probably be at because I can get free tickets. New Orleans isn't too far from me but a lot of the bands I like rarely stop there, however with Radiohead making a stop I've been a bit upset that I decided to get the cheaper Roo prices, if I hadn't I could've gotten tickets as soon as they went on sale.
Anyways though I like the headliners a bunch, there's plenty for me on the undercard. Actually more so than last year even though there was less terrible acts on it. I like hangouts undercard quite a bit but Mumford and 21P are bad and I can't really afford a condo, Okeechobee and ACL are at inconvenient times for my class schedule. And I'll probably go back to Voodoo this year but I like getting my camping fix too. It'd be nice if I lived in the NE and had a bunch of good smaller fests to choose from. Roo is only about 6-7 hours from me so it's kind of my only option
Should have the points from fancorps that I refused to cash in on last year's lineup. This one isn't any better but I worry the program won't be carried forward after this year plus I actually am excited for U2.

There's an application process now? Thanks, Obama!

No. The few acts I'm interested in will be playing closer festivals and I've seen some of the others. I started going to Roo because of the uniqueness of the lineup. They had bands that weren't playing other fests and a good world music element. They have U2, but I'm not a fan. I will miss the campgrounds and the comradery. At other fests it feels like every group is doing their own thing, but Roo always felt like everyone was in it together. Here's to hoping Fortress Fest lands Car Seat Headrest and maybe Kevin Morby and Lucy Dacus.

Yes. U2 and a tradition of getting together with friends are the only things getting me there. But this is likely my last Bonnaroo. Sadly we are growing in different directions.
Going because I leave in West Tennessee and can't afford to travel across the country for other festivals. Really interested in governors ball but no way I could afford it. I've had a great time the past three years at Bonnaroo, even with the so called lousy lineup. Hope to see you others on the farm.

Yes, state your reasons for needing an exception or risk being ostracized for accepting such an awful lineup. Bonnaroo 2917 is the opposite of jury duty; you may attend, but for the common good of society you must apply for an exemption to participate.
I initially went to Bonnaroo for it's quality. The same goes for Coachella. Not for any rumored goofyness or vibez. It was a good deal. Unfortunately one sold it's soul and identity.
Its funny when people say this, as if Coachella wasn't also purchased by a giant corporate conglomerate (AEG) years ago. AEG has nearly as much of a stranglehold on the live music landscape as Live Nation does. No one suddenly abandoned Coachella just because they were acquired by a larger promoter.
So which one were you referring to, that sold its soul and identity?
