He's basically a dead man walking, and I think everyone knows it.
The sentiment I get around town is that it's a matter of what game rather than if it'll happen this season. Just depends on where and how the team loses going forward.
If they're down 35-0 at the half against Bama, do you think he's allowed to stay inside the stadium for the second half?

I don't think Alabama would be the game as everyone knows there's no hope there.

Lose by 50+ and see what happens
I really don't think many people would be surprised. Losing to Alabama is just considered a matter of course at this point. Losing to Kentucky or playing Southern Miss close would be a far more grievous affront to a large portion of the fanbase.
We haven't looked that bad in a long time. They were not ready to play at all. Still could have won if our kicker didn't suck. Kelly shouldn't have been playing and I think they played the wrong Fr qb. What shocked me though is how bad the defense played. They had been shut down all year.
I might have given him a series or two starting out to see what he could do. Clearly his mobility was limited, and he ended up paying the price. Bryant should not have been in the game at any point in the second quarter.
I think had Cooper come in much earlier, you might have squeaked out a win.

That's what I couldn't understand. If they would have lost a 14-13 slugfest with Kelly Bryant going down early, that would have made sense. But Cuse could have scored 30 if they weren't trying to kill the clock at the end. VT went into the dome last year as a 23 point favorite and came up short. Something about making that trip up north.

No one had scored more than a td on our starters. Then cuse puts up 27. Definitely a head scratcher.

Clemsoning = the inexplicable loss to a mediocre team that Clemson has every year. There's always one.
