Looking forward to seeing if this Ohio State passing game is actually improved against an above-average defense next week. I still don't think "we" can win anything with JT at qb.
Firing Butch before the Alabama game wouldn't make much sense to me. It would be putting the interim coach in an awful spot and the team would be full of distractions before playing the best team in the country.
I'm finding myself more inclined to root for Penn St a little bit this season because the board hates UF and I know you all hate PSU as well. I can't root for ND, a lot of my family loves them and I grew up hating them. Florida stinks, Dave Maynar - it's turning out you were right about McElwain being not too far from the hot-seat. Be interesting to see what happens if they go 8-4 or worse next year. Still don't understand why Zaire is not getting any looks. I know they're trying to develop Franks for the future, but he has had plenty of opportunities this season and just can't bring it together.

Zaire is a big question for me as well. Dude must be looking awful in practice for him to get nothing during the games.

I'm very excited for the PSU-OSU game. I'm excited to see how our defense stack up, since OSU will be the best offense we all year. Our secondary is really good, and our run D is underrated. I am worried that the OSU defensive line is going to absolutely feast on our O-line, but that area will be tested this week against Michigan. Northwestern and Indiana sold out on the run and pretty much dared Trace to win the game through the air. I had this game chalked up to an L in the beginning of the season, but it won't be a night game, and our Defense is starting to click, so I'm probably 30-40% sure we win.

For those unfamiliar, Gruden + rumors = #grumors.
Some are taking this to mean Haslam dropped some cash and made the offer Gruden needed to come back to coaching especially with another statement made about having a good quarterback with the right coaching since Gruden is known for his quarterback features. Really, it's just the standard insanity that comes with coaching searches here.
They won't. Like I would put money on them not reaching 8-4. 7-5 is even dicey.
For today, I'm gonna self hate about all the motherfuckers I am seeing commenting on social media about how we should be hype the touchdown drought is over. Yes, it counts the same, but you shouldn't be hype when the defense scores but the offense still can't. We got a turnover on Alabama's twenty and still managed to fuck it up.

Didn't get watch much yesterday, but didn't expect ND and Penn State to dominate like they did last night. Everybody on gameday yesterday kept saying if ND wins out they will for sure be in the playoff, but if TCU wins out I think it's impossible. Feel like the SEC/BIG10/ACC will more then likely all have a team in it. The only way the ACC wouldn't I feel is if NCST or Miami was to lose to ND and go on to win the ACC Championship game. Then, if Bama & Georgia wins out until the SEC Championship game - how much would the loser of that one drop in the rankings? Especially since Georgia beat ND earlier this year.
Feel like VT has the trap game of the season next week. Last four meetings with Duke: 2-2 with all four games ending in a FG difference. Duke has also lost three in a row by one score. Not to jump ahead too much, but the first Saturday in November is a loaded slate of games. VT/Miami, Clemson/NCST, OU/OKST, LSU/BAMA, Penn St/Mich St.
