Even though I have drifted away from Florida football over the years, UF/UT is always can't miss/get way too caught up in game for me. I know it's in Gainesville, but I have a feeling the Vols will make it two in a row. Guess it will be nice to have the Gators two best playmakers back on the field.
Hokies shouldn't have any problems with ECU, even with it being on the road. They lost to JMU by 20 and West Virginia was winning by 40+ going into the 4th quarter last week. I would be lieing though if I said I wasn't a little scared for that ODU game right before Clemson.
ODU was uncomfortably close against lowly UMass, and lost their best receiver for the year (thanks Google)

They're a speed bump for VT
They won 10 games last year and are only a touchdown underdog to UNC on Saturday. Not to mention it's a week before Clemson rolls into town.
It's a team VT shouldn't have trouble putting away, but I can just see that one being uncomfortably close.
Also, Florida opens as 4.5 point favorite over the Vols. Really thought that would be a pickem - one point spread.
That's surprising to me also. I'm going to take a closer look at that and might lay some money on UT.
Also, as a side note...I've been really impressed with the ACC this year (Clemson/VT/Louisville). Clemson's D was unreal against Auburn. I'm really looking forward to their matchup against Lamar and Louisville this weekend.

That's funny because I was thinking the ACC has looked like garbage. Clemson, Louisville, VT and FSU (defense at least) are good. GT is decent. Miami might be ok. Pretty much everyone else has been really bad. UNC, NC St, Wake, BC, Syracuse, Pitt, Uva have all looked like very bad football teams.

Cuse and UVA were awful last year though, and NC State/Wake will be around 6-6 (just like last year).
UNC & Pitt have took a step back, but it seems the ACC is shaping up pretty similar to last year.
I have no confidence for any of the games in the pickem this week.
I think there are a couple you could feel pretty good about, but there are some that are really tough. Ole Miss - Cal for example was basically a guess for me.

I put Clemson at 9 points and for the first time in 2 years I'm not even sure we're going to win.

Louisville hasn't been super impressive in either of their victories (7 pts and 12 pts). I would worry about your offense's ability to put up points after Auburn, but I think your defense also put a beating on Auburn. They should be able to slow Jackson down a little. That being said, I went Clemson, but it is low on the list.

I haven't been impressed with Louisville other than Lamar. He's been their entire offense. He's that good. We didn't really stop him last year and he looks better this year. But I don't think their overall team is as good. I was calling this our only loss all summer. I've come around because our qb looks better than I thought, so I think we have a good chance.
As somebody that was at the Ohio St - Oklahoma game, I can honestly say the uproar about JT is deserved if not insufficient. He never had an arm but was accurate or at least trusted himself. He has zero trust in any length pass, any trajectory, and can't scramble with the ball and stay ready to fire (Baker Mayfield is unreal at this). When they roll him out, he locks in on either his tight end or slot. Every single time. It was painful and sad because JK Dobbins is going to be an absolute stud.

The defense did enough to win. The offense sucked at times, particularly the red zone turnover. The officiating has me scratching my head. Kelly got called for clapping like a jorts-clad douchebag. Is regular clapping okay? And Kongbo was totally held on the final play.
Either way, mistakes doomed us at the end of the day.
I would normally agree, but Florida's offense is awful.
That was a Butch Jones special. He's an awful gameday coach. My prediction of him being fired first might be bested by Barry Odom but Jones is still going to get the boot.

My biggest gripe with him is that he keeps trying to make Dormady a read option quarterback. He's not a read option quarterback.
