Solange, Justice, and Tyler The Creator were my top 3 to see at Camp Flog Gnaw.... I might just sell my pass to that and see if I can swing this instead.
The pre-pre sale if you bought back in January. Pretty happy I jumped on that lol
I mean it's good but on the real, if they are reading this and wanted to spice up the lineup a bit they could add DVS1, Throbbing Gristle, The Belleville Three, Jello Biafra/Henry Rollins tag team spoken word, Prefuse 73, Fugazi, Photek, Plastikman, Sven Vath, and Einsturzende Neubauten, then we'd be cooking with grease.

You should definitely do this over Flog Gnaw if you can, no question.
And ya, the blind presale was $108 with fees if you bought it after last years fest. It was available for that price for quite a few months though. This most recent blind presale they did, was around $195 with fees iirc.
I'm curious to see what the regular GA ticket will run.
Also want to see how this sells. I'd like to think they have no issue selling out with a lineup like this, but who knows.

Anyone remember the #s from last year? I feel some of the grounds have to be moved around and expanded upon to for this to work. THey have several other floors to work with so I felt the 2nd floor could have been it's own stage/dance floor (if feasible to put one up there logistically and in respect to sound quality).

I was convinced they'd sell out with Aphex Twin last year, but no dice. I could see this selling pretty well, though.

You know, I never investigated or looked from outside, but how many stories is the building? Would be awesome if they opened up another floor to have 2 indoor stages and a floor for installations.

There are almost no shizty stuff this year though, so I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't sell out.

Yeah um remember the noise complaint issue from Jonesy's next door neighbors? And then they got moved and crossed paths w him again while he was visiting one of our rooms - am I getting the details of this story right? Help me out @jonesjupiter @rothric tЯist♡n
Oh man, that cracked me up.
Something like that. 1st night we were over in tЯist♡n room when she knocked on the door to ask us to be quiet since they drove all day and were tired. I answered the door and said sure, no problem. I guess we weren't quiet enough for her, and the hotel moved her to a different room.
Sunday night we're having a little night cap in our room, and we get a knock on the door. It was the same girl. The hotel had moved her to a room right next to us.
She was not pleased when she saw me answer the door.
"Are you fucking kidding me? It's you again?"
I could barely keep a straight face.
Sorry, not sorry. Put in some ear plugs.
Ah right, it was you blamed as the loud asshole, not Jonesy.
It is just easy and logical, when in doubt, to cast blame upon Jones. My b
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I'm actually pretty excited for this lineup. Thom Yorke, St. Vincent, Justice, Autechre, REZZ are who I'm familiar with and excited about. I dont love what I've heard from NIN though. How do I change that? What's the best stuff to start listening to of theirs?

welcome to inforoo! based on NIN's riot fest setlist, I'd listen to "Add Violence" (new EP), "The Fragile", "The Downward Spiral", and "Broken". The last three are all classic NIN.

$50 flight from Tampa to Houston on Southwest on the Friday of the fest. It's deathly early, but can't beat that. And my girlfriend, who is usually indifferent to most fest lineups, loves this lineup. Will this my chance to finally meet most of you in-person?
