Looking how it is laid out on the poster, I'm thinking that is by stage(Blue, Yellow, Red...or however from biggest to smallest).
So, PL into NIN, then closing Sat w LN James Blake
and
St Vincent into Thom, then closing the fest w LN Justice if according to the lay-out. I may be wrong...just a theory. But an odd way of just lining up the bands on a poster (by groups of 3...3 stages)if no reason behind it.

yeah I was kind of thinking the same thing, but there will be acts on the yellow stage so probably not whats going on here.
random info, but they replied to me on facebook that Shlohmo is playing his own set in addition to playing with Corbin.
that's cool, I'm more interested in shloh tbh, but it was hard to tell since in the promo vid they show them with the " + " but they're separate on the poster.

Saturday Must See:
Nine Inch Nails Venetian Snares x Daniel Lanois Forest Swords Andy Stott Roni Size Jlin EDIT: Bjarki
Saturday Definitely Maybe:
Tyler, the Creator James Blake Pretty Lights Jamie XX Pussy Riot Laurie Anderson Gas Lil B G Jones
Sunday Must See:
Nina Kraviz Tim Hecker
Sunday Definitely Maybe:
Thom Yorke Justice St. Vincent The Jesus Lizard GYBE Rezz En Vogue Corbin Shlohmo DJ Tennis Priests Rabit x House of Kenzo
I still haven't done sufficient research to be confident in the above list, but as it stands Saturday is the stronger day for me. Regardless we are all screwed when it comes to conflicts.
Everyone after Faten Kanaan in the Sound lineup aren't listed in the 'daily schedule' breakdown.
TRUE AMERICAN PEARL CRUSH DEEP CUTS TYLER BARBER N N O A SANTA MUERTE KONA FM NARCONS ACID JEEP HESCHER TEARZ XLX MIGUEL FLACO COLLIN HEDRICK
I am going to assume that these are the Yellow Stage acts. They're mostly Houstonians/Texan, which is what occupied the Yellow stage last year. Other than the DJ Dickface.

Jesus Wizard on Blue seems like it wouldn't work? Daughters was also on the Yellow last year and they were a "reunion" show and not from Texas, probably were the biggest Yellow stage act sans Dick Face. *but it still seems to point that way.
Saturday will see (barring conflicts) in order of importance:
Laurie Anderson Nine Inch Nails Pretty Lights Venetian Snares & Daniel Lanois Gas
Want to see: Princess Nokia Lil B G. Jones Jamie XX of Montreal Forest Swords James Blake Pussy Riot Roni Size Andi Stott Hoodcelebrrittyy B L A C K I E
Don't care: Cashmere Cat, Tyler the Creator, Cardi B,

I just tried to make a clashfiner with the given set times on the website, the set times are so sporadic that it is literally pointless. However, there's one thing I'm hoping for I think across the board everyone would like to see Solange, St. Vincent, Thom Yorke, and Justice on Sunday. I think it's very possible that the Sunday Red stage could go
Solange > St. Vincent > Thom, and then Justice closes out the Blue (they have to be in that spot, no one else has the catalogue to fill a slot that long.
Maybe that's just me being optimistic, but from a programming point of view it makes sense.

Not sure if anyone is looking for hotel availability, but I am cancelling the below rooms for the below dates if you're looking to grab a room:
-Four Points by Sheraton Houston Greenway Plaza, 12/15 -Holiday Inn Houston Downtown, 12/16 -Hyatt Regency Houston, 12/17
Fozzy......quick question, and little help,if you can.
Coming in from Austin for Day for Night w/ 3 others....4 total.
Looking for hotel either :
A. Close to venue, and by some action...
B. By where all the action is, but close Uber to venue.....
Are the 3 above the ones to check out??
I've never attended so other users will likely be able to better answer this question, but I'll give it a go. Both the Holiday Inn Houston Downtown and Hyatt Regency Houston are relatively close to the venue, about a 25-minute walk and a 15-minute walk to and from respectively. Or, they're a five-minute Uber ride to and from. I'd say the Hyatt Regency looks the best out all three.

Wait, you booked a different hotel for every night of the festival???? lol
My points for Hyatt, IHG and SPG weren't enough to fill out multiple days in one hotel, so I did a split across three for the weekend so I wouldn't have to pay for lodging at all. Buuuuut...vet bills happened, so won't be going at all now. It's a bummer.

I was very intrigued by that, I'm sure you'd be able to get some good deals by doing that.
If you've got points for Hyatt, IHG, SPG, Hilton, etc., the redemption rates in Houston are very good. As long as the hotels are relatively close together, moving between them each day is pretty painless.
Purchase your ticket to Day for Night 2017 between Oct. 24-27 and use promo code 'IstandwithPP' to receive 20% off the ticket price and send a portion of the proceeds to Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.
