Holy fuck. Holy mother fuck. ZERO conflicts for me. Fucking ZERO. Has that ever happened before? OMG. And the fact Tim Hecker gets an hour and 20 minutes is just the most amazing thing to me. I could not ask for a better schedule.
Doors at noon, shows start at 1 this year. So that's different. That's all I noticed so far other than some new acts that weren't (I don't think) on the original undercard or I don't remember them:
Saturday 02:00 - of Montreal (red) 03:00 - Princess Nokia (green) 04:10 - Lil B (Green) 04:50 - Gas (Blue) 06:00 - Pretty Lights (red) 07:40 - Laurie Anderson (Blue) 08:40 - Roni Size (Yellow) 09:00 - Venetian Snares x Daniel Lanois 09:30 - Nine Inch mfn Nails (Red) 10:40 - Andy Stott (Blue) 12:10 - G. Jones (Yellow) 12:20 - Jamie xx (Blue)
Sunday 01:20 - Shabazz Palaces (Blue) 02:10 - Kimbra ? (Red) 03:10 - The Album Leaf (Green) 04:30 - En Vogue (Green) 05:00 - Phantogram (Red) 05:40 - Godspeed You! Black Emporer (Green) 06:40 - Solange (Red) 07:10 - The Jesus Lizard (Green) 08:10 - Shlohmo ? (Blue) 08:40 - St. Vincent (Green) 10:00 - Tim Hecker (Blue) 12:00 - Tom Yorke (Blue)
Works out fantastic for me with only a few conflicts. The Yellow Stage has to have been moved indoors because of the set times. Looks like the Texas Playaz Ball is out for me on Saturday because of the Jamie XX/G Jones late sets, both of which I'll be at.
Now to look into some of the shit I didn't see on the schedule or skipped over Tearz, XLX, Pearl Crush, N N O A <-- don't know any of them

Man, Thom Yorke going until 2 AM on Sunday night is kind of brutal for me. There's a high chance I have to fly out for work at like 7 AM the next morning.

Wow, I would've barely had any conflicts.
Saturday: Jlin > Gas > Forest Swords > James Blake > NIN or Tyler (the hardest conflict for me) > Bjarki > Jamie xx Sunday: Priests > Rezz > Ryoji Ikeda > GY!BE > Solange > Justice > Tim Hecker > Thom Yorke and Nina
This almost makes me want to make a last-minute decision to come back baaaaah

Dude. I'll pitch in $50 to fly you and your old lady's asses down for that. You had the vet issues which made you choose between two very important items. Get 10 more of these motherfuckers to pitch in $10 each and your flights are almost paid for. /do it do it do it

yeah i'm pretty set. there's some things I'd like to move but...Jamie and Thom closing is great; Tyler and St V vs. NIN and Justice is pretty much what I expected and Im 100% chill with it; I'll get to see all of GAS, Mount Kimbe, Perfume G, Of Montreal, Godspeed, Shabazz, Priests, Album Leaf, should be able to catch bits of Snares/Lanois, Dimbke Stare, Roni Size, Stott, Tennis, and most of Hecker, maybe a little JLin or Lil B. Only real bummers are Jesus Lizard/Mount Kimbe, and Snares/Lanois overlapping with Nails.
Idk what I'll end up doing in the Pretty Lights/Forest Swords spot, PL will clearly be more fun, but I might be able to use the GAS > Blake gap as an Art spot.
but if it's as undersold as we are all making it out to be this should work out as far as getting around.

After my first look
SAT Hescher/Demdike Stare > a bit of Perfume Genius before Jlin > Pussy Riot or GAS > some of Pretty Lights and if I don't get sucked in I'll head over to Forest Swords > James Blake > Roni Size/Venetian Snares and Daniel Lanois > Nine Inch Nails > getting lit in blue all night with Andy Stott > Jamie xx
SUN Shabazz Palaces > Priests > end of Jessy Lanza > wonder around and eat > guess I'll end up seeing En Vogue after all > Godspeed You! Black Emperor > toughest conflict yet in Mount Kimbie vs The Jesus Lizard > St. Vincent - though I might be tempted to skip her for Justice and see Annie next year in Dallas > Tim Hecker (thought he would be early in the day) > Thom
Justice vs. St. Vincent is easily the conflict of the fest for me.
Good news is you probably have a good chance of seeing either of them at a festival later this year.
But in this situation, I'd pick Justice. They are closing a main stage, and the red stage is just better than the green stage. Better sound, better sightlines. It will be loud and bright and fun.
This schedule is not what I thought it would look like.
Agreed. This is not at all what I was figuring, but obviously we didn't know they'd be moving the yellow stage indoors opening up possibilities for larger inside sets. They're still going to be clusterfux though.

Just wanted to work this out so you guys could see that I wasn't kidding when I said no conflicts. As per usual the looks like I'll be spending a majority of my time on the Blue stage.
Friday: obviously no conflicts its Friday
Saturday: Of Montreal --->Demdike Stare----> Jlin---->GAS----->Forest Swords---->James Blake---->Nine Inch Nails till about 10:15----> Andy Stott----> Jamie XX = ZERO CONFLICTS
Sunday: Shabazz Palaces----> Check out art---->The Album Leaf---->Ryoji Ikeda----> GY!BE---->Mount Kimbie----> Shlohmo--->Corbim---> Tim Hecker----> Thom Yorke
Only thing is I am missing St. Vincent for Shlohmo/Corbin and to make sure I am front and center for Tim Hecker which means I will be front and center for Thom Yorke. = 1 conflict
Out of all this beauty I am okay with only one conflict. Plus St. Vincent is coming an hour away from me two months after this. Yeah...it couldn't be any more perfect. Anybody else as happy as I am with it?
if the crowds not too bad it should be easy to get from Heck > Nina > Thom. I remember it thinning out before Arca last year, granted he's not Thom/Nina as far as fame, but the idea that people got to work the next day could help.
Also, Bjork was in the same spot as thom last year and people freaked out because she was on too late and it got moved.
This schedule is not what I thought it would look like.

I didn't expect Of Montreal at 1, but thats chill.
also, friday is fucking PACKED...I hope they release a separate talk schedule 4 pm - 2 am sounds intense for a "pre party", and the talk I'm most interested in now is 'Performance by Saul Williams' which probably should have been its own thing but whatever. Hval > Earl > Kaytranada sounds fly.
Yeah I am idioteque90 . I'm sure some of the early shows are adds or shit I didn't pay any attention to when I was going down the list. But some of the names are foreign that I don't recognize at all - though it was about 2 months ago I did my research. Plan for me will basically be to try to get in every day for noon in order to get art and sample food. There isn't really anything that I know about that I need to see early either day though I like and have seen Shabazz Palaces before andplan to catch them. I could make an hour gap on Sunday between them and Album Leaf. And on Saturday, I really don't need to see shit until 2:00 so I can make a couple of hours then for wandering and admiring.
The rest of the conflicts will come when they release the visual artists' schedules. I'd like to be at some of the best ones, but it's probably not going to be possible.

So do we know if they are still gonnna allow Friday people to preview most of the art? Cuz I figured I could knock out a bunch of those during that 4 hour span of talks and Boots.
Faten Kanaan > of Montreal > JLin/Perfume Genius > Lil B > Gas > Forest Swords > Cardi B > James Blake > Vanetian Snares > Daniel Lanois > Tyler The Creator > Andy Stott/Bjarki > Jamie xx
Shabazz Palaces(were they always on this lineup?) > Priests > Jessy Lanza > Rezz/Rabit > Ryoji Ikeda > Marcus Marr > GSYBE > Mount Kimbie > Shlohmo > Justice > Tim Hecker > Thom
A couple conflicts for me, but all things considered I thought it would be way worse.

How nice of you! We'll see if I can make it happen.
whats up with the 2hr 40min gap on the green stage saturday between Lil B and Cardi B?
I saw that and the first thing I thought was crowd control. I feel like they believe the Lil B / Cardi B combo will be the most popular, and the crowd is going to be huge.
