On the natural disaster note, weather for the weekend is still holding stready at 68 hi / 49 lo; 20% precipitation, with the rain coming in Monday. Hopefully it stays on Monday.

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too far out to even get a remotely accurate weather outlook. I wouldn't even bother looking 'til next Wednesday.

Fingers cross it won't be as cold as it was on sunday last year. That was miserable.
Agreed. Fuck the US generated model 11 Days out, but the overall pattern in the SE US is about to go below normal for a while (most of December), pretty strongly below in some places. SE TX is on the cusp and may or may not be as cold as points farther east.
I, for one, welcome any weather that involves temperatures below 80*F and low humidity. Y'all heat freaks have most of the year to relish in your ideal climate of swamp-ass and oppression, not to mention a warming trend for the foreseeable future. Allow us polar bears this brief reprieve and layer up.
That aside, has anyone set up an FB group for those attending to coordinate and communicate? I'd like to be included if one exists.
dunno, but i googled and found a brooklyn vegan article from 2016's lineup drop that was published at 11:29am eastern, so I'm hoping for a morning schedule drop. maybe between 10am and 11am.
Probably at 10am CST like usually when they announce stuff. And no it isn't canceled. They had a post on the 30th of November saying the schedule was going to be released today. Regardless of how desperate they seem trying to sell these tickets it would still probably end up costing them more in the long run if they flat out canceled the event.
It'd be nice, but last year, the map wasn't posted until 3 friggin' days before the fest. It was worse then because we had no idea what the layout for this new venue was going to be like. At least we have some sense now, but I'm sure there will be a bunch of adjustments, especially with that huge Bjork VR section opening up.

I wonder if they would shift the yellow stage inside to where Bjork VR was?
I think it would create a better atmosphere for some of the smaller electronic artists.

Yeah because where they had the Yellow stage last year was cruel. I would have felt totally insignificant if I was one of the many bands that played that stage that probably 25% of the people didn't know even really existed lol.
