Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I might feel a wild hair and go catch Bjarki at that time too.
andy stott v bjarki for the 40 minutes before jamie is probably the set I'll know the least about going into, from what I've heard I'd go Stott, but zero idea what either are like live.
I really wanted to see both, but Andy Stott is can't miss imo.
i guess i'm going to go to Laurie Anderson then. loved Blake's set at Roo 2015 but i don't sit around listening to his records.
It's liable to be very chill with a lot of spoken word based on some of her recent works (not including the new VR thing she did which we aren't getting  ). But a lot of my sets are "listener mode" shit - Gas, Laurie, Tim Hecker, etc. I'm perfectly fine with that because there is plenty of rock, rap, hype EDM and stuff that I'll also be getting my fair share of. This will be more of a walk in to pay respects rather than expecting her to go all eclectic circa 1986. That's okay. She's probably around 70 at this point.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I'm loving this schedule! Thinking it will be something like this...
SAT: Faten Kanaan > of Montreal > Perfume Genius > Jlin > Gas > Forest Swords > James Blake/Laurie Anderson > NIN > Andy Stott > Jamie xx
SUN: Shabazz Palaces > Priests > The Album Leaf > wander around, see some cool shit/Ryoji Ikeda/wander some more > GY!BE > The Jesus Lizard > St. Vincent/Justice > Tim Hecker > Thom Yorke
Leaning towards St. Vincent and James Blake for my conflicts, but I might split those sets up as well. How far of a walk is it from stage to stage? I could stay at the Blue all day on Saturday. Hecker into Thom is gonna be such a perfect way to end this fest. I've got work off that Monday so staying late for those two sets is no problem.

So lets talk about attendance numbers, stage sizes, and getting around at the fest. I've never been to DFN so I don't know the layout like I know Bonnaroos! How many people normally attend? Do you think the attendance is down this year with all the sales and the cheapest AirBNB's are still available that weekend?
Also, do the stages have capacities? I heard the Blue Stage is kinda small with pillars?
How easy is it to get to the front of stages? Do any stages have pits like Roo?
And lastly, how quickly/easily can you traverse the festival from one "corner" to another?
The Blue Stage is small, and there are pillars, but the warehouse is massive, plus they have screens. So there will be somewhere you can stand with a sight line, you just may not be super close.
Getting to the front of the stage is like any other festival, get there early, or be a dick and squeeze through.
Easy to get from corner to corner. Probably a 5 minute walk tops from one end to the other.
Dad Dog lured me in here soo.. If I were to go, I'd do something like this (though I haven't really dug into the line up / artists I don't know about so..)
True American - Of Montreal - Princess Nokia vs Perfume Genius vs JLin - GAS - Forest Swords - Cardi B - James Blake - Nine Inch Nails vs Tyler, The Creator - Bjarki - Jamie xx Shabazz Palaces - Priests - REZZ - Ryoji Ikeda - Phantogram - Godspeed! .. - Solange vs Mount Kimbie - Justice vs Shlomo - Tim Hecker - Nina Kravitz - Thom Yorke
very rude when you know I’m fucking sad to be missing this. Like, job of my dreams is one of the only things that could pull me away from this lineup.... but that’s what happened.
