Also I really hope they find a better placement for the Yellow Stage this year. That stage was a joke last year. Put that shit inside in the dark.
Hell next year make the Yellow Stage entirely dedicated to Techno/IDM/Minimal producers and have a "resident" light artist curate the lights at the stage all weekend.
As noted by others, it's definitely inside this year based on the late night show times. Whether it moved to blue and blue to Bjork VR or moved upstairs or moved into the VR area from last year doesn't matter. I loved the industrial aspects of the yellow stage last year, just not the effort it took to go all the way over there.
I wouldn't mind skipping Justice since I already saw them but I have a feeling I'll be dragged to that show.
Yea I mean I saw them at Coachella but only briefly and the obnoxious crowd made it hard to enjoy. And I skipped St Vincent last month here in Nashville because I knew I'd see her at D4N.

it would be cool if they allowed you to access the inside from those loading bay doors over by the yellow stage, so it remains easy to bounce back and forth between red and yellow. but i bet they just block off the whole area where the yellow stage used to be and use it as a backstage area.
Man this St Vincent/Justice conflict is really really bumming me out.
JESUS. glad i didnt get that single day pass.
Choose Justice. Even though I most definitely prefer St. Vincent over Justice in general, if you actually really like them you should know that St. Vincent...shes gonna be around for a while. And she tours somewhat often. Justice...they don't do the states very often and every time they do its pretty much strictly New York or California. So I would take that into consideration. I mean the only reason I'm doing Shlohmo/Corbin instead of St. V is because I know she has a date a couple months after D4N that's only an hour away from me.

meh im not going, i've alrdy seen justice twice. st vinny only seen part of her ACL set a few years back. three would have been great but they just fucked that up.
and i feel you on st vinny other shows. i think shes got one booked for the bomb factory in dallas for Feb so may just jump on that.
justice is a bit overrated and im assuming it'll be note for note the exact same show as coachella.
That Coachella set was one of the best things I've ever seen, complete with amazing production. I saw Shlohmo for a bit at III Points and found him a bit boring, but to each his or her own. If he played his older stuff, I'd be game.

It was good but I didn't feel too bad about leaving early to go see Kendrick. Helped that they played all their good songs in the first 10 minutes.

Interesting, meanwhile I felt kinda bummed about leaving early and missing a bit of their set as Kendrick didn't blow me away (I should've listened to DAMN. at least once before I went in).

When did you see Shlohmo at III Points?
In 2015. And DJ Tennis and Kraviz are sweet, fine alternatives to Tim Hecker.
I'm starting to think I'm going to see Tennis and Kraviz over Hecker.
you could also easily catch almost the first two hours of DJ Tennis, all of Tim Hecker, and all of Nina Kraviz.
edit: also if the yellow is inside this year as we are assuming, it should be super easy to get between the blue and yellow stages.
I'm 100% seeing Justice and Thom all the way through, was planning on catching a little bit of all three but the Nina/Tennis sets I just listened to were a lot of fun.

I'm in the same boat. Left justice early for Kendrick but their set was amazing. The Thom set is just too rare for me too not stick it out through. I've seen Nina a couple times though and shes a fine time
For all those who are Instagram-inclined (barely for me) - Day For Night's current 'story' is a video sneak peek at the map, highlighting the Light/visual Artists placements.
Radio Soulwax is placed outside in the area walking towards the Green Stage.
VT Pro looks like it is going to be on the side of the building. As does Sam Cannon's work. Everyone else seems to be scattered in the building.
