Any insight on the parking situation? Should I park near the venue and walk on over to the bar? Is street parking plentiful, or should I plan for a garage.
shit i thought doors were 730. pretty sure Vince is 730 then. one of the stations was giving away tix and tweeted a pic and i saw 730 on it. as for parking you can park for free at this little lot off spring garden right past front which is like a block from the venue. Youll see a big USA flag mural on a red old, beat up building and you can park back there. it looks a little dumpy but its legit, i park there all the time. Ortliebs is in walking distance to the venue but might be harder to park over there plus youll be able to get out faster from the lot.

My buddy Shane wound up taking the spare ticket by the way and is coming down with me. Sorry. I think your friend could probably find a spare easily though.

holy hell that was a great show. rain/ delay was annoying but as soon as they came on i couldnt stop dancing if i tried. so many tracks from Humanz that were kinda meh at first were absolutely stellar live. Strobelight, Sex Murder Party, and We Got The Power really surprised me with how much fun i had.
We were a few feet behind you at sone point. We were yelling dumb shit n then got them miller light VIP passes n posted up in thay elevated platform. Free beer rest of the night. Ill get close for em at ACL.but tonight ended up amazing. Them men n ne215 danced our assessment off down the block.

That was a great show! Cmack already shared our night but I'll reiterate how dope those free passes were. We had a perfect dry view a little to the right of the sound tent. Vince was on fire too def not many people around us into it.
Also I have never seen a line to get in like that at festival pier, shot was like a half mile if not longer but we got twice and ended up at the gate lol and even took 2 beer breaks in the bars

Yup! That was 100% me. The tiny hands are awesome. It helps friends find you, and are so much fun to dance with too.
Its all good man. I am sure our paths will cross sooner or later. Queens of the Stone Age on that pier is mighty tempting.
