They've been soumdchecking some songs that they haven't played on this tour yet so it'd be cool to see some of these: Empire Ants, Fire Coming Out of The Monkeys Head, To Binge, Spitting Out the Demons, Superfast Jellyfish

They did keep with it and played On Meloncholy Hill and Dare. No Feel Good Inc, but I'll take what we got any day. Fabulous show. Pusha T came out for "Let Me Out".
jealous as shit you got Pusha. would have been sick for me to have seen him 3 times wiht diff projects in the year as i saw play The Clipse songs with Pharrell and got him solo at MIA later this summer.
that MPP show was otherworldly, worth the 7 year wait to see the band. First show at MPP and am totally smitten. Need to get back there asap.
I'm Philly based so I would have normally gone to the Festival Pier gig on Thursday, but was in chicago for pitchfork fest. Was happy to hear the show went on despite the shite weather
It's been less than a week and IM ready for a 2nd Gorillaz show. There are so many good songs to still here. Empire Ants, Momentz, Meloncholy Hill, Let Me Out, Fire Out of Monkeys Head, Apprentice, White Light, Feel Good Inc.
I'm glad we got some goodies in Philly like Stylo, Rhinestone Eyes, Dare. Sleeping Powder was slipped in there literally felt like a 2 minute song. Every thing sounded great.

Seeing Gorillaz at Outside Lands tomorrow, cant wait! My question, is this a show I want to be up close for, or does it have a big production that would work fine from far away? Fleet Foxes play before them on a different stage, but I kinda wanna skip them to get close to Gorillaz.

You can get pretty close. There are a lot of animations, but they're not so large that you can't take it all in from up front, and there will be a ton of musicians and presumably guests you'll want to be able to see.
typically i like to get close for shows but we got VIP for this and it was further back behind the production tent and it was still a fantastic view because there was plenty of production going on to take in. but yea, it prob wouldnt make much of a difference.

You can find my post about Fleet Foxes in the Coachella thread. I strongly urge you to see FF. I caught Gorillaz in Chicago with Slack and it was great but that Fleet Foxes show was impeccable. Gorillaz can be enjoyed from far back as they have a very visual show.

Love Fleet Foxes but I'm seeing them in September at their own show. It'll probably be a game time desicion

In that case get close for Gorillaz. Make the Fleet Foxes show in your hometown extra special

To add on this we had basically the furthest seats away from the stage at Northerly Island. It was still a great view and I didn't feel the need to be up close for that show.
as long as it’s not made on an iPad like The Fall was. And songs are as good as their recent single Sleeping Powder. I’ll be very happy and I’ll need sometime alone to cry tears of joy
