Who else is planning to go? garageland , I think you're going to this, right?

I've got the time off worked out. Just waiting to see if I get media approval, honestly. I did go on and reserve an Airbnb just in case.
Still waiting on a few showcases to come through. Dying to see what else 33 1/3 pulls out. Besides the McCarren shows, I'm looking at Lætitia Sadier and Basinski specific. I've never been to National Sawdust and feel like I need to.

National Sawdust is a fantastic venue, you should definitely check it out.

Pretty sure I'm out for this now. Had an incident last weekend that involved me having to smash a window out to get back into my house. It pretty much ate up an extra money I had. Sad that $200 would have gotten me there plus the festival itself. I had to choose between P4K and this. Tribe was the deciding factor.
Remember: Toddlers watch everything you do. One figred out how to lock the door behind him.
I'll be playing along though. It's my priority for 2018.

I'm not sure if anyone else's going to this, but here's what I plan to see.
June 8: Kamasi Washington > Dirty Projectors > Aldous Harding > Mild High Club > Lætitia Sadier June 9: Julianna Barwick > William Basinski > Craig Leon & Martin Rev > The Pains of Being Pure at Heart > Foodman > Container > Jlin June 10: BJ the Chicago Kid > Miguel > Timber Timbre > Lower Dens > Dave Harrington > SHXCXCHCXSH (live)
Let me know if anyone's going to any of these shows and wanna meet up.
Had a fantastic run of Jay Som > Kamasi Washington > Dirty Projectors > Tiny Hazard > Aldous Harding > Mild High Club > Lætitia Sadier yesterday.
Aldous Harding concert was in a church, it was an intimate and ethereal performance. Very good. L. Sadier's show was a solo one, but I wasn't expecting it to be such a forceful performance to be honest. She said she's coming to US with her full band this fall.
The drummer for Thursday hates me. He was bartending in Greenpoint a while back and I was on some drunken rant talking to one of the guys from Interpol about how much I despise emo and that is the hair metal of the 2000s. I didn't even know what Thursday was. Was either my finest or worst moment.
