Ideal and still somewhat realistic:
Fleetwood Mac | Arcade Fire | Lana Del Rey | Frank Ocean
I'd love to get Frank in that #4 spot, but it probably won't happen. And this is if he actually follows up Chanel with another project (which is definitely unlikely).
I'm also just assuming primavera will get some of those acts we really want like Gorillaz, Fleet Foxes, etc. Next year makes too much sense for Arcade Fire, and I think Lana will end up in the 3rd/4th spot (even though I'm not really a fan). AF and Lana would certainly be cheaper than RHCP and The Weeknd. Fleetwood Mac and Frank are probably similar to U2 and Chance.
Not much of an edm guy, but didn't Kygo blow up last year. I thought he'd be a shoe in for some lineups this year but haven't seen him at all. I'll assume he'll be our big shitty edm act.
Here's a top 25 I guess. A little stacked compared to the past couple years, but that's the point. My #1 would be Roger Waters but I have to imagine he'll be hitting up the rest of the world all next year. This is pointless. RIP Bonnaroo.

I love how we have to designate shitty acts in mocks to justify in our heads that they are realistic. That's my favorite part of this exercise.
Oh yeah I blocked out those spots first then filled the rest in. Although it's also because I just don't know those artists. Most of the shitty EDM names I came across are all packed together onto the Bonnaroo 2017 lineup
Why anyone would put Frank Ocean in a mock lineup for anything past this year is beyond me.
Statistically speaking, he's probably one of the least likely active artist to play a concert in the United States anywhere. He's done what, 50 shows over six years?
Getting Frank Ocean karaoke in 2014 was absurd enough, and that was when Bonnaroo seemed to care about having a well curated lineup.

re: LDR, I'm shocked. She hasn't released anything since 2015 and it wasn't even that good. I saw her at ACL in 2014 and her set was sorta boring and nowhere near HL levels.

I also think I basically have a list of 15 top 6 acts, but ya know, whatcha gonna do. If I'm booking my own top 15 acts that'd get me back to $400 ticket expenses and 5 days in the summer Tennessee heat, then this is what I'm going to need. (Through doing this I also realized that I listen to a whole lot of hip hop and like no active rock acts....)
Lana just released a single a few weeks ago and announced her album a few days ago. She's overdue at Roo, it's gonna happen soon.
