Friday: I want to say Kaskade's dwindling popularity would prevent him from repeating as the third-line act on a day. Miguel looks a bit overbilled, Migos looks underbilled. Saturday: Switch The National and Missy Elliot. A&B seem irrelevant for GV now.
I wouldn't say it's entirely impossible given his growth and relationship with this festival, but he's better in the dark so Outdoor would be more appropriate. Flylo into a hip-hop outdoor closer (TRIBE) would be legit.

It's impossible. He'd need to perform in total darkness which would imply last three on main Fri/Sat or last two on main on Sunday. He isn't going to get billed in a slot to play that stage at that time (90% of the time it's top 4 on your day to fill that slot, and he won't be billed 9-12 overall here).
Outdoor would be a promotion for him, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him back in a tent if he returns.

Right. That's why I said he would play in the dark too. I've seen him in the day and it actually works. His show has obviously advanced since then though. I would argue that Goldenvoice (at some point) could contribute and pull off a 4-6 production on the main. Other major festivals have promoted him to their big stages as well and we all know this one can afford to do whatever it wants. One can only dream at this point. Outdoor is the logical next step, but yeah, also wouldn't be surprised to see him closing a tent again.

Fucking shit guys are we really putting this much discussion into what fucking stage Flying Lotus would hypothetically perform on IF he were to be at Coachella 2018?
Re: Halsey, sounds like she's really, really pushing to be considered alternative. Really hoping she's not there next year and they waste a sub on her but I wouldn't be surprised.
