If I was going, I’d be more worried about potential health complications for either Saturday headliner leading to the show. You don’t really have to worry about that for the other 4 bands.

Saturday is the best of the 3 days, 2 unique gets that havent played shows in 5-7 years. Interested to see what the lineup for both of them will be. Brian Johnson will be turning 76 that weekend. Ozzy could do a split set with Sabbath like he did at Ozzfest ‘97

Ozzy doesn't sound great and hasn't for a while but I am all for him getting his proper send-off in what is sure to be one of his final shows ever. Plus if he still has Blasko, Tommy Clufetos (who played on the final Sabbath tour), and Zakk Wylde rounding out the band it will be a killer show. I may not be a big Black Label Society fan but it's hard to deny that there isn't a better fit to play alongside Ozzy other than Tony Iommi himself.
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025

Took a trip down memory lane...bought a 3-day grandstand ticket on Sun of W2 for $126 (original price $999 plus fees) strolled up to my seat in the middle of the Who to a bunch of surprised folks around me. Roger Waters was crazy good.

The map looks to be roughly the same as DT was. Not sure if there will be a standing GA and seated GA. I figured it would be a larger pit, but like I mentioned before they probably didn't want to give up all profit from the seated floor passes. Hope they are bolted down lol

I think when they release the site map it will show the details of that if they do it or not. Lots of sticker shock reaction but nobody understands that lost of these acts you cant get at a Wimmer fest.

Metallica/Tool day is the toughest sell for me at that price point. Both are pretty regular DWP fixtures, and resale on those is notoriously soft. Looking at posters from the last time Metallica did the rounds, and there's usually at least 3-4 other acts on each day that I'd pay to see.
Love this idea, and the FOMO is slowly creeping over me, but even just one opener sized act per day would go a long way.

I mean there's only 6 acts and half of them have but ok
And the other half you cant. 2 of them prob wont perform after this again. If it said Sabbath's final show then everyones crawling over hot coals to get a ticket.

Are you forgetting that Ozzy has played numerous Wimmer fests like Aftershock, Louder than Life and Chicago Open Air? Iron Maiden also tour extensively and I’m 90% sure will tour around Power Trip too.

it doesn't say black Sabbaths last show though 🤷♀️
Yes, you can also see some of these acts if you want to travel to Fuckville, Kentucky and Shitstain, Ohio for cheap. Or you can pay more and see all of them in one of the best venues on earth.

Doesn't seem like a difficult choice for me.
It seems like it is because everyones finding an excuse as to how its not cool enough.
If it was Desert Trip 2 with Springsteen, Peter Gabriel and Fleetwood Mac theres probably a circle jerk happening.
