Since Comedy and Cinema are one now, probably not.
But that's what I mean. They're not even going to fill it with a movie? That's just plain lazy. Remember when they used to play movies twenty-four/seven three and a half? It was like last year.

I miss that. I rarely used it but occasionally when I couldn't sleep and was in a close enough campsite to be worth it, I'd pop into Centeroo at 6-7 in the morning, fire off an article while the wi-fi wasn't overloaded, then go sit in the air conditioned cinema tent and watch/nap through whatever was on.

Yeah, sometimes you just need some darkness and AC. I mean, this year is looking like it might be on the milder side but you just never know

One of my friends was pissed when he heard they were getting rid of the cinema tent. He would wake up early and spend a couple hours there each day to cool off. Thank god its going to be cooler this year.

Alright final schedule given some of the recent changes and trying to be realistic about what time I'm gonna be actually going into the fest each day...
THURSDAY
July Talk--> The Orwells--> Mondo Cozmo--> Lemon Twigs--> Eden--> Turkuaz--> Twiddle
FRIDAY
Kevin Morby--> Car Seat Headrest--> Cold War Kids--> Kaleo--> AK's Remain In Light--> The XX--> Glass Animals--> U2--> Portugal. The Man--> Big Gigantic
SATURDAY
Rainbow Kitten Surprise--> Throwback Alt Rock Party--> Future Islands--> The Head & The Heart--> Chance The Rapper--> Cage The Elephant--> Red Hot Chili Peppers--> Umphrey's McGee
SUNDAY
Royal Blood--> Umphrey's McGee--> Skepta/Flatbush Zombies--> Lorde--> Badbadnotgood--> The Weeknd
There's some early day stuff I know I'd probably enjoy but I'm gonna be dead tired every morning so I don't see myself making it in for those shows- Klangstof, Front Bottoms, and White Reaper in particular.

I too enjoy making a "schedule" then making a realistic schedule of what I'll actually be able to physically handle.
Looking at your schedule reminds me I could definitely go to Roo this year and have a memorable experience. None of the artists there really get my heart racing but I have no doubt I could have a great time seeing the above acts. Have fun and be safe this weekend then come back here and tell us stories.

You'll be surprised what the adrenaline does for you. I sleep when I'm tired at Bonnaroo and that could be at any point in the day or night. I actually missed Gramatik Thursday 2015 because we'd been on the road with Wakarusa and camping for 8 days leading up to Bonnaroo. When we went in 2012, it was music depending. If I was out to 6 (doesn't go that late anymore), chances are I wasn't going to hit the festival until the later afternoon. One of those days, I went in early and caught Soul Rebels around noon, left and then came back for the evening and night shows. It's easy to get in once the gates are open, and you can come and go as you want depending on how far away your campsite is. If you're a 15 minute walk or longer from the entrance, it can get tedious. Another tip from me is to memorize the street name(s) of where you're camped at. I'll never forget leaving the festival that first Thursday after Alabama Shakes. I went out the wrong entrance and wandered for hours. I didn't know there were two entrances. At night, all the tents and campgrounds looked the same (I didn't know about the "pod numbers" as it was my first time. Eventually I kind of just wandered into an area where I remembered seeing one or two of the flags and found the car we came in. I had cash and what I needed on me, so I figured if I was going to end up wandering for 3 or 4 days by myself, I was okay with it. My boys Jabco and Brad didn't even believe me that there were two ferris wheels until we were driving away that Sunday night and they saw the other one. Me pwnd
Otherwise, that Thursday schedule looks like mine except I don't know a couple of the acts you listed, and I'd probably split G. Jones with Twiddle. Friday is close, but I'd see Stick Figure over Cold War Kids, and I was told I need to see Khruangbin. But that's at 2:45, and if you're chilling and drinking, that's probably good enough. Saturday I agree almost completely, but you know we're like 80-85% of the time usually in agreement. So San Holo/Michael Kiwanuka instead of Future Islands. Sunday I'd be leaving before The Weeknd. I actually think he's a pretty weak closing act compared to what they've done in the past.
You'll have a good time. The only other advice I'd give you is to hunt out some of the food. You can get the generic fair bullshit, but there are usually some food trucks out on the perimeters of inside the festival near the tents and back by Kalliope area. People rave about "Spicy Pie", but it's outrageously overrated on message boards. Bacon Land is fine but also overrated. However, if you like bacon, they have a flight of about 7 or 8 pieces coming from different pigs. Everyone liked Amish Baking Company last time we went, but who really needs a giant donut (they have other stuff). I think Rolling Oven was the good pizza out of the pizza truck where they do wood fired. If that's the right one, it was much, much better than Spicy. I think I remember liking Ozark Mountain Biscuit Company as well. They scratch make their biscuits, so they have a nice southern flavor and flakiness to them.
Yeah we're not bringing much food for the campground. Bread for PB&J's, bagels w cream cheese for the morning, and snacks for late night. I figure we'll eat some bigger meals on the inside. Better than having to worry about keeping meat good for 4 days in a cooler. Even though we have the RV, we're not using the fridge because that electric hookup is ridiculously expensive. Just gonna run the generator for AC when we're trying to sleep in.
Since Comedy and Cinema are one now, probably not.
Wait, what? When did this happen? I quit going after 2015, but the cinema tent was still one of the most unspoiled attractions there.
They just kind of slipped it in there a few weeks ago. They're no doubt saying it was necessary to reorganize the left side of Centeroo to accommodate the The Other Stage. Really, it's just a little less bang for your buck and a little less shade and AC.

My last day at work is dragging D: 7 more hours...
My final schedule is looking like:
THURSDAY: Hippo Campus > The Orwells > Innanet James > Ten Fe > Turkuaz > Allan Rayman > G Jones > Ookay (might leave after G Jones to check that Pineapple Party)
FRIDAY: "WoodStock" listening party (or Khruangbin > Blossoms) > Car Seat Headrest > Cold War Kids > James Vincent McMorrow > The xx > Glass Animals > U2 > Portugal. The Man > Big Gigantic
SATURDAY: COIN > Rainbow Kitten Surprise > Tegan & Sara (hopefully pit!) > Future Islands > The Head & The Heart > Chance the Rapper > Cage the Elephant > RHCP > Flume > Umphrey's McGee
SUNDAY: Flint Eastwood > Noname > Jason Huber > Milky Chance > Flatbush Zombies (having a hard time choosing between this or Lorde pit line) > Lorde > BBNG > The Weeknd

God, so unbelievably lame. They had some truly great performances in there that were easy to see up close because they flew so under the radar.
has Sweet Sweet always been scheduled next to U Talkin U2 to me?
I don't know. They were there before it dropped out because they were my backup plan if I couldn't get into the podcast. I only made me schedule in the last week or two, though.
