2 more acts i like Sunday i might hit it up. Im dying to see NERD and never seen Dirty Projectors before and im even open to seeing Em since i never seen him before and it would still be cool to catch some of the classics.
Khalid, CHVRCHES, and Sylvan Esso are all good, as well, IMO. For my money, Sunday has the best top-to-bottom lineup in that image...which, of course, doesn't necessarily mean it'll have my fave lineup once the full days are released (and there's no one there I'm as excited for as I am for YYYs and Jack White) - just going by what's in that particular image.
eh not really into those acts. Sylvan Esso is alright but its not something i find myself listening to, if im there i will surely check them out given no conflict.
Ya I'll see Chvrches at virtually any fest I'm attending. They're not normally my style at all but the way my fest schedules have gone I've only seen them once like 4 years ago, so I don't have the overkill some others my have with them.

lol was wondering when you'd change the avatar to that pic
It's funny - I'm more an indie/rock/hip-hop guy, but I have a soft spot for good synthpop. "The Mother We Share" really grabbed me when I first heard it, and it's been nothing but love ever since.
That's a great song, but they've just never seemed like a particularly special synthpop band to me. They're solid, but they seem to get more love and critical applause than other groups doing basically the same thing. Also every time I've caught them at a festival it's been pretty forgettable

Yeah, I watched the stream of their Coachella set in 2016, and I'll admit that something seemed off. Lauren Mayberry's voice definitely wasn't in its best state - she was missing notes I'd seen/heard her have no problem with, live, before.
That said, the two times I've seen them (both at Terminal 5) were really fun shows with great energy.
...which is not to say I'm expecting to talk you into liking them. YMMV, etc., etc.
I was at that Coachella show. It was good. Pretty sure they opened for Disclosure. I wouldn’t pick them over a reasonably good act I haven’t seen but I would see them barring any conflict. I wouldn’t see them on their tour though. Just kind of a festival band
Why is Silk City now billed higher than The Gaslight Anthem unlike the poster?
Did the made up act that has no released material have a big spike in popularity over the past 2 weeks?
And meanwhile 2 Chainz is now higher than Cut Copy. Mr. Chainz continues to rise up poster ranks at an unprecedented pace. I'm predicting now that when the schedule is released he'll be headlining.

Their first album is pretty fantastic. Their second one is good but not as unique or memorable.

Really goes to show what throwing some well-publicized shade can get you!

no idea... some of the billings definitely changed here (or this was an earlier draft before lineup poster slots were finalized... unsure, but doubt that since 2 chainz went up)

With YYY's and Jack White, you have to think that they'll throw a few more gems at the rock fans that will show up that days. Give me Japandroids, Wolf Alice/TashSultana to pair along with Maggie Rogers and that would make for a realll solid day.
Given that they already have post malone, damian marley, 6lack, and dram. Id have to agree there needs to be at least 1-2 more rock oriented artists to balance things out. I could definitely see Japandroids getting the bill.

#1 CHVRCHES song = Science/Visions. Vivid memory of them playing that on What as I was walking over to the pit line for LCD. Haley from Paramore also showed up at their set that year. I know yall love her!

Interested to see which days Brockhampton, Japandroids, Wolf Alice, Jay Electronica, Slaves, Manchester Orchestra, Alvvays, Pond, and a few others pop up.
Looks like Friday will be the new Sunday with the rock headliners, but as far as the teeny bop acts..Post Malone is way more popular than Wiz Khalifa.
Which was surprising to me since rock headliners tend to not target the main demo and Friday is a tough day to sell single day passes for. I would've expected Saturday.

Maybe they think that Jack White/YYY's will attract enough of the older crowd who can just buy a 1 day pass and pop over straight from work.
