Glad they're starting most of the late night shows at 11:45 or midnight so you don't have to rush your ass out the festival to get to the late nights on time.
I wish we could get the schedule before these go on sale.
Ditto this. I went ahead and got a ticket to Brian Jonestown Massacre for Friday but waiting (and hoping they don't sell out) on the Saturday shows until after the schedule release.
And that Fleet Foxes price is steep, though it might be worth it if the festival conflicts are terrible.

Went in on a Fleet Foxes ticket. I can definitely understand steering away because of price. For me, having more freedom in my schedule on Friday and being able to see them in a small/intimate venue made me pull the trigger.
Probably not happening, but I would be extremely happy with David Byrne -> Jack White on the main stage with Fleet Foxes playing in-between on Friday.
Someone correct me if i'm off, but i don't think you can be more than 10-15ft from the stage...the pit/floor at Variety probably holds more people. I get Loft and Vinyl mixed up, and one of those might be smaller, but the Earl has to be close to the smallest room on the list.

It is. 650 is more people than you think. The Bijou in Knoxville is a 600 person venue. Always thought it was more than that.
I'm bummed their isn't a parcels after show. I bought BRMC tix for saturday and I am going to see BJM the Thursday before and drive through the night to ATL. Finally booked the Airbnb. very excited for an amazing weekend of music!!!

as a fairly soft looking white-passing 21 year old, I can honestly say I've gone to the new masquerade solo plenty of times and been okay. never been harassed, never had an issue. including late night shaky shows last year, waiting by myself on a curb for an Uber. you'll be straight
This new Jack White album definitely is not a casual listen, but I was honestly blown away, and I wasn't even expecting to like it much based on things I had read. It's not perfect, but it's very unique and there were a lot of songs that really amazed me. I felt like I was in some bizarre soundtrack. Also the closer Humoresque, which I loved, was a song originally written by Al Capone from prison that Jack bought at an auction.
Still not big on Connected by Love, though, besides the verses. Opens the album and doesn't really fit in with the rest imo.

Yeah I actually really enjoyed it. It might be my favorite solo album by him.

I may be riding solo for this on the Friday. I’m planning to camp out for Jack White and hopefully see Fleet Foxes/Courtney Barnett/Japandroids/Franz Ferdinand (depending on scheduling), Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Waxahatchee, Rival Sons. If you wanna meet up and see some sets lmk
Here's his full performance from Warsaw. New guitars sound much better and he's finally turned it up in the mix so it's at the forefront. Show has a lot jammier feel rather than rapid-fire songs and shortened versions. A couple notes: Ball and Biscuit is cut off at the end, and he was a lot lighter on White Stripes material than usual. Usually his shows are about 50% White Stripes, but here was only 7 out of 27 songs.
2 weeks or so for a schedule yeah? Holding off on buying any aftershows until I get a glimpse at that. Really torn between Chicano Batman and Post Animal for Saturday night. Would love to do Fleet Foxes but $66+fees is a no go for me
