Now is as a good a time as any to post my ATL recommendations map. I've updated it recently to include some new stuff around town. All listing should be annotated so you know what you're looking at.
You can save this map as a layer in your Google Maps so that as you move about town you can see what's close by.
This is pretty good. There's also an awesome mexican place El Myr right next to Variety Playhouse for those trying to get their cinco de mayo fix before fleet foxes on saturday night. If you don't do smoking, there's another one to the right of it, albeit a little nicer and a bit pricier but still alright.
Also: everyone should note that there is a publix (grocery store) and a walgreens a block west of the festival on North Ave if you need anything.

Not liking their new IG post. "Plan for time to get through TSA-style security." In past years it was just a quick glance in our bags, took two seconds.
yep.. on their website:
"Every attendee (including media) will be searched prior to entry. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a thorough, TSA-style search, including emptying your pockets and bags, a full pat-down, having all of your items examined, and possibly removing your shoes. Police officers work both inside and outside our events. All narcotics laws are strictly enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone."
If every person has to do all that, then that's pretty crazy. I'd even be fine with a quick pat-down, but having to empty bags is such a hassle, especially having to get it all back in.
Really hope Jack White plays a similar setlist to what he did in St. Louis last week (link).
Also, looks like we will need to keep an eye on the hour-by-hour forecast for Saturday & Sunday. National weather service though doesn't have anything at 50% or higher for the weekend - yet.

VIP has never gotten any search at all (except bags). Hoping that stays the same!
They changed Saturday line up again. With the Night Game no longer playing now they have: Torres & Stop Light observations at 1:30 Broncho & Teenage Wrist at 3pm
This is perfect for me as i want to see Torres and Teenage Wrist and I'm not interested in Broncho or Stop Light

I got the tattoo a couple weeks ago and just got my wristband today. Super simple. They just took a photo of it and then asked for ID and put the information on the wristband I think.

For will call do we need to bring the card of purchase and the ID? The website says just ID but I’m worried they’ll say otherwise. A friend of mines ticket was bought from her parent as a gift so she can’t access the card to bring to will call

I've never had to show the purchasing card for any will call experience ever. You can always call ahead to confirm/verify the card before you go.
Hawaiian shirt friday in t-minus 24 hours!! Look for me at Rolling Blackouts CF and thepeppers will be joining the squad at some point too.

If I can find my SK shirt from 2015 I will be rocking it tomorrow, if not probably Roo 2016 shirt. SAFTB tee of course on Saturday, at least until the evening. Will def make my way towards the tree spot we all flock to at various times.
Been a big struggle to get anything accomplished at work today.
