What I've learned over the years, if there's any chance of rain - it's probably gonna rain. Seen days with like a 10% chance of rain and it pours just cause.
Holy shit. I don't know how I made it home (good friends that's how) after that QOTSA set. I don't think I have anything left in the tank for tomorrow after that.

I'm so tired my body is not giving me the energy to poop, even though I gotta poo.

Didn't love QOTSA at In Bloom a month ago, but that set last night kicked ass. I think a bigger stage, side screens, and the crowd gave the show the gravitas it needed.
Overall, Saturday was a better day for me than Friday. Cake was badass! Andrew WK having the crowd count down from 100 into Party Hard was absurd. The rain started up at the best possible moment and then continued into Chicano Batman. Super cool.

This is the way I felt after the Japandroids late night. My ears were ringing and I had to actively tell my legs to move on each step. Turned a 15 minute walk there into a 25 minute walk home.
Had way more fun yesterday than expected. Went in with only small expectations for each of TWOD, Cake, and QOTSA and was blown away by all three.
If anyone's looking for a good pick-me-up in the morning, the Cafe de Olla at Adios Cafe is no joke. Probably too much cocoa but I'm not sure there's such a thing after all the moving around/calorie-burning the last few days.
