Good point. I guess the solution is to put the dance-inducing acts on artificial turf-adjacent stages and the stand/sit and listen acts on grass.
Face it, NO ONE will be dancing to Fleet Foxes
false
Actually, there was a 2016 Columbia University study in which people who self-identify as Fleet Foxes fans were placed in various rooms, each with ample floor space for dancing, and Fleet Foxes albums were played, while hidden video cameras recorded the reactions of the fans.
While a number of people got up and did the wavy-arm thing popularized by Deadheads, and there was extensive swaying, there was no recorded evidence of the movement of feet which one could characterize as "dancing."
It's been empirically proven. You can't dance to Fleet Foxes.

Brockhampton vs st Vincent is killing me. I know st Vincent is the “right” answer but brockhampton into Tyler sounds hype af.
Based on seeing St. Vincent live on this tour and catching the Coachella streams for Brockhampton and Tyler, I'd predict that BH will absolutely be hype af but that Tyler's show might be underwhelming. St. Vincent is indeed amazing, but personally I'd choose Brockhampton over her right now.

I watched the coachella streams for all three and it made the decision even harder. St Vincent’s new show looked borderline headliner material, brockhampton was hype, and Tyler was good but the crowd wasn’t super into it. I’m thinking it’s going to be a game time decision. Leaning brockhampton right now.

Maaaan I wish St. Vincent was a headliner. She'd kill. When I saw her on tour she didn't have a backing band, but she did at Coach. No clue what she'll have for BC.

Where are people at bag wise? I tweeted Boston Calling a month or so ago and they said anything under 12X12 is fine, but all these new bag policies have me concerned. I ordered the most ironic fanny pack I could fine today just to be safe.

Yea, I have a small drawstring bag thing but seeing Bonnaroo is only allowing clear/see-through ones has me questioning what I can bring. I think i'll probably spring for a locker (the 3-day ones let you leave things in overnight) and just bring in a clear shopping bag the first day with essentials (Sun block, rain poncho, battery charger, etc.) and leave it there all weekend.

What do you plan on bringing and leaving in the locker?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Pretty much what I said in my post:
(Sun block, rain poncho, battery charger, etc.)
Plus if I get a poster I'd like to put it in there instead of carrying it around all day. And any other stuff (sweatshirt maybe?). Not totally sure.

Apologize because I know this was covered, but what’s the best bet for parking for someone coming from out of state? I waited a bit too long to pick a parking garage.

Last year I parked at Alewife and took the Red Line to Harvard Square.

I haven’t seen Tyler on a stage since I saw odd future the first year of made in America so while it’d be nice to see him I’m a massive qotsa fan so I just won’t miss that. It’ll be my 4th time seeing them but no matter who josh is playing with at the time there’s not much better than that band live. P.s. the guys he’s playing with now are probably the best collection of musicians he’s ever had
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
