Nice! I really wanted to go last year, hopefully they can match last year's lineup. Explosions In The Sky would be cool and seems realistic
honestly I think there could be a lot of overlap from last year. Beach fossils just put out a great new album, king gizz is pretty much always about to release an album, pond has a new album out.

It would be really cool if they could get Ride.
Ohhh King Gizz's dates line up perfectly for them to play too. They're in San Fran the Thursday of the festival and have the rest of the weekend open.
The 6th annual Desert Daze Music and Art Festival will return for its second year at the Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree, California. This lineup preview is just a small taste of what’s to come. Full lineup will be announced very soon.
Tickets, Camping, and Payment Plans go on sale June 21. Cottages go on sale June 27.

Damn. Thought about pulling the trigger on the early bird price, but I'll probably just wait to make sure I'll have the time off work and people to go with since it looks like its only $20 less.
Having just a little bit of regret for locking myself into Voodoo this year. Definitely hoping I'll be able to work some magic for this, because I can't imagine a better place to see Spiritualized.

Same here! I'd add La Femme and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith to that list as well.
I'll have to check those two La Femme out. It wouldn't hurt to go through the lineup and check out everyone, I'm sure they're my alley adjacent.
I just think its crazy that EODM and UMO are two of the least interesting bands on this lineup to me, in such a good way.
I have no interest in EODM, and kinda surprised they're on this lineup. (Same) UMO was at DfN last year. (yeah seen them three times now, but they're good)
I'd recommend both albums of La Femme, I feel like you'll like it.
By the way, Melody's Echo Chamber is out as she had a serious accident earlier this month apparently. (oh no! i hope she's ok. I feel like she had visa issues around her last tour, some luck.)
"Melody suffered a serious accident earlier this month and experienced a brain aneurysm and broken vertebrae. We are optimistic, but there is surgery still to be done, and she will be in the hospital for several months."
God, it's so horrible. I wish her a speedy recovery.
