Post Malone is a 'rapper' from a predominantly white, boring DFW suburb (at a HS I coached at actually) and occasionally writes/performs bad Texas country songs. That formula speaks for itself. Some of my most annoying students love him to make matters worse.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I could say precisely the same thing about Dillon Francis.
I'd disagree. I left after like 3 songs at firefly.
Yeah I expected he'd be about that bad live. I follow him on Instagram and he's pretty hilarious there but his music isn't really worth listening to. Same thing with Post Malone.
whats everyones thoughts on Post Malone? i hadn't given him much attention for a while but ive been listening to his album a good bit recently and i think he is a cheese hip hop option who would actually be really fun.
not that anyone needs to be reminded what an awful idea this is, but i unfortunately saw him open for bieber last year. he played the same song roughly 3-4 times while young girls yelled obscene things that i'll never unhear. can confirm, it was repulsive.
I can't believe that there were zero follow up questions/comments about you going to see Bieber.

That's because this is the undercard thread. Bieber's obviously a headliner.

Unfortunately, I expect Dillon Francis to be on the lineup. Also, time to get MGMT back (when I saw them on the farm, they were terrible live). The days of getting Hot Chip, moe., John Butler Trio, Elvis Costello and acts as such appear to be over.

Keeping with the Atomic Bomb Angelique Kidjo theme, i hope we get Sinkane next year. I know he is part of Atomic Bomb but he needs his own set on the Farm.

I only just discovered Sinkane some two months or so ago and really dig it! I was bummed I couldn't get the night off of work when he/they came to town just after discoverin' them. I would definitely support this!
I know I told Ken Bone I didn't like it but I'd only listened to a few live songs and the first single. But Planetarium late night would be incredible. Also how did they miss Sampha this year?

I saw them at Mamby on the Beach a week ago and I can confirm that MGMT is horrible live. We looked at their previous setlists and realized they were only going to pay the songs we knew at the end so we left to beat the traffic. I would never recommend someone see them live.
