Cat Stevens is my favorite musician ever, grew up with my dad playing Tea for The Tillerman and his greatest hits album in the car wherever we went. But I don't think he plays fests, I think he spoke out about not wanting to be around pot smoke from the crowd because of his religion. Yes to Peter Gabriel, another one of my dad and I's favorites! Yes to The animals, Jesus and the Mary chain, Steve miller band, and cheap fuckin trick. Seriously Cheap Trick would be so much fun.
I still kick myself for missing Cat's Ryman show last year. I kept hoping he would play Atlanta. I hope I didn't miss out forever.
he's my number one artist on my bucket list too see, it's funny to see older people ask me who's my favorite musician and they always get surprised that I say Cat Stevens. Hope it's not too late to see him either. My mom and dad were crying watching him get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame a couple years ago

Would definitely be nice to see them return to legacy acts on the undercard. Enough people seemed to have bitched about it and it's not a particularly difficult box to check.
Aretha Franklin is supposedly done performing after this year.
Def Leppard was awesome at Welcome to Rockville, sounded phenomal live, for some reason I doubted in my mind that they wouldn't be that great or anything. Blew me out of the water with how identical they sound to their studio recordings.
I'll also always have a soft spot for the Goo Goo Dolls. I grew up seeing them back when they were a scappy, punky act and I've had a blind spot for them ever since! (Yes, I know that they've been passe for a couple of decades now.)

Yeah it'd just be a dumb-fun rock act like Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Billy Idol, etc

I'd be happy with any of those three acts returnin'! Especially Billy as that LN had the worst conflicts ever fer me, and Alice Cooper just because it was fuckin' amazeballs and I never thought I'd get to see him live! "Feed My Frankenstein" (performed in my favorite movie) made my life!

Really like the new St. Vincent songs, I hope she's there. Also, do you guys think Brittany Howard's new side project Bermuda Triangle would be there? I feel like since Thunderbitch wasn't there they may have moved past that being an option.
It's so hard to gauge who they'll book next year. They've sent out a lot of emails/surveys about fixing things people are upset with and appear to be making an effort to get past attendees to return, but I have no idea if it's just lip service or if they're really going to make changes. I personally don't have faith in them but I really want to be surprised because a couple of my friends who live on both coasts were at a wedding last weekend and drunkenly said we want to have a reunion at Roo again, and my girlfriend wants to give it a chance if they lineup is worth it.
