I feel like SZA is going to be everywhere and take up a higher spot than a lot of people will expect.
Got tix to her second night in STL. That show sold out in a minute. It would be stupid for fests not to book her. Ctrl is an amazing album and she has a ton of crossover appeal

I planned on buying tickets to her show in Indianapolis since that's where I'm from, it's my birthday weekend, and I'll be home then for Christmas anyway. Nope, sold out before I can get tickets, and that never happened with Indianapolis shows for me when I lived there. And of course both of her Chicago shows sold out too. Unrelated, they took Z off of Spotify, not happy about that.

Also an Indy native, they moved her show up from Deluxe to Egyptian Room and it sold out again with resale at about 80 bucks, which is CRAZY. I had no idea she was that popular

I'm coming back for a wedding in a couple of weekends and thought I'd be good to buy a ticket at the box office in person while I was there. Nope!
I was pleasantly surprised. Not really my cup of tea but I had a good time. I actually liked how he probably could have played much longer than he did but they chose to keep it around the hour and fifteen mark.

Real fun set. Me and my buddy were right up front and that tent was sweltering. It was right after that set that we got evacuated actually! So at least we went back to the camp site happy
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I really want some older legacy acts again at Roo, the last two years have had nothing besides two of the three headliners both years. What happened to all the legacy acts we had in the undercard before like The Beach Boys, Alice cooper, Kenny rogers, Danzig, Billy Idol, ZZ Top, hell we even got Weird Al, David Byrne, Lionel Richie, Bobby Womack, Robert Plant, Earth Wind and Fire, Tears for Fears. 2016 we got Third Eye Blind(which really isn't a legendary booking) and last year we got nothing. The legacy acts turn out to be some of the best shows we get at the farm, for me at least. What legacy acts that wouldn't be booked super high do you think we could get? I'm hoping for either Hall & Oats, Steely Dan, Durran Durran, Huey Lewis & the News for the hell of it, and some George Clinton.

I was disappointed too that we didn't get a legacy in 2017... I agree those have historically been some of my favorite shows each year.
Collective Soul is playing Music Midtown this weekend and would be a fun lower-end legacy act.
I love your recommendations too - I'd be front and center for all 4 of those.

Yes, I hope we get Collective Soul too!! One of the only acts that made me want/question to go to Music Midtown this year.
