I feel like for the upcoming artists Roo is gonna book Sir Sly and K. Flay, they just seem like stuff Roo would go after. Also really hoping for some wild belle on the farm finally.
Well, K Flay played the festival a few years back so I would think that is a safe assumption.

I would love for Highly Suspect to play Roo but with the way things are being booked now, probably won't happen. I still think Skindred would be such a great get for Roo.

K Flay was the first act I saw at Roo back in 2012... Can you really call her an "upcoming artist," when its been nearly 6 years and shes in the exact same spot?
had no idea she's been around that long, and if she would be in the same spot then damn at least she seems to be getting attention now it seems.

I think about the same attention she has always gotten unless I am missing something?

Word. Yeah a year or so back that song she did with Louis The Child was all over too. Guess that is a bit of a bump from 2012 (she was mostly "rapping" over Sleigh Bells and The xx instrumentals back then).

well since she last played in 2012, I think she's due back and would be a good draw for the younger crowd. On another note, I see Electric Guests released a new album, haven't listened yet, anyone know if it's any good? Mondo was amazing imo, but I love just about anything DangerMouse produces. Really hoping they come back too, last time was in 2012 right?

Yup, Friday 12 noon set I believe. Really wanted to make their show, but I was havin’ too much fun at Brunch so...
I saw talks of Moon Taxi & Strand of Oaks being there on reddit as well.
So pumped for 2015
I wouldn't be surprised to see a good handful of names recycled from 2015 & 2016. From 2015 I could see any of Odesza, RTJ, Sylvan Esso, Mac Demarco, Gramatik, Moon Taxi, SZA, & Strand of Oaks coming back, probably a few others really. From 2016 possibly Tyler the Creator, Griz, Post Malone, Twin Peaks, Lizzo, LANY and others here too. I like a lot of these possibilities but hopefully we don't see too many repeating artists.

There's a lot of potential from 2015's lineup! The War on Drugs, Spoon, Tycho, Temples, & The Districts have all had new releases this past year as well.

At least most of these artists have seen notable growth in popularity and/or artistry. Or in the case of MMJ and FlyLo should always be welcome.

If Roo is gonna give LN Which to any non-EDM artists then I think MMJ would be in the running. I don't expect it to happen, but I'd be pretty happy to see My Morning Jacket (Late Night) on the lineup come January
MMJ can pre-headline Saturday every year for all I care, and I'm not even a huge fan.
Yeah I wouldn't mind that at all. I guess just from a booking stand point I'm not sure if we should really expect MMJ again. Would Live Nation Bonnaroo even give them a two hour set? They almost didn't give U2 a two hour set.

That's a fair point, Todd. I don't know. And the fact that MMJ initially did not have two hours and only got it after fans revolted.. I don't think they care about their fanbase that much anymore.
