They were lots of below face value tickets for Vampire Weekend. Unfortunately, I had to get sick as soon as this rolls around. I would’ve killed to go.

Vampire Weekend has been at the top of my must see list for many years and I finally got to see them tonight! I'm not sure what they've been playing the rest of the tour but during the encore they took audience suggestions which tonight was Hannah Hunt and Diplomat's Son which were both amazing!
Vampire Weekend crushed it. The band is really tight and their sound was fantastic, they played 2+ hours and, according to setlist.fm, played 28 songs. The great weather was the cherry on top. VW is perfect lawn music

Seats looked 90% full. GA floor was 70% full. Good show for sure. Thought they could have been louder? Something I never think at a concert. Had to take my earplugs out.

Yeah, thought the crowd size was great. Not a sell out, but you might not have noticed if you weren’t looking. Also didn’t need earplugs, although not complaining.

Anybody go to any of the Kennedy Center REACH shows yet? If so, how were they?
I went to Flying Lotus last Sunday. It was pretty great for a free event, seems like not a lot of people know about it? I don't know, it wasn't as crowded as I expected! Really great free food from local chefs, some cool art installations. I'll be going again tomorrow for Thievery Corporation.

Just canceled the night portion an hour after start. I only knew because of a post on the Facebook page. Not one notification via email from the team, what a joke.

Statement from the DC24 crew -
Hello everyone,
We want to send a big thank you to everyone who joined us for the portion of DC24 we were able to execute last weekend. Thank you to our production team for working all hours of the night despite feeling disheartened, to pack up, pick up and relocate to Bardo for the daytime event. Thank you to Jimmy Valentine's for opening up their venue to us so we could continue our programming into Saturday night. Thank you to Martyn for working with our schedule and closing out Bardo. Thank you to our DC24 patrons for riding through this wave with patience. Know that our intention was to bring the community together and even though we experienced some significant hardships, we continued to stick together and moved through it the best way we knew how.
As we were unable to provide Friday night's portion of the event, we are offering a 50% refund to ticket buyers. Please get in touch with RA - [https://www.residentadvisor.net/contact.aspx?e=8](https://www.residentadvisor.net/contact.aspx?e=8&fbclid=IwAR0BsIN4Ve5MiiL3uqclsPP8trRVGvvz6D1nyrvb3fF8uclFnFdEnTyG4Pg) and they will make sure you are sorted.
We love you DC, and we'll continue to do the best we can to provide unique and exciting DIY experiences to our community. We'll see you again soon.
My buddy is going to the two-day event at 9:30 club with The Black Madonna, Josey Rebelle, DJ Boring, etc. Lucky duck.
There are apparently a bunch of free tickets out in the wind for this. Not sure if it’s the 930 Club events, UHall, or both. But if anyone comes across Black Madonna tickets they can’t use hook me up.
