Kinda surprised Waxahatchee is playing here. Musically I can understand, but her last show was at the Lincoln Theater and I haven't heard anything in the way of new buzz about her.

It’s with Snail Mail and Tim Heidecker (most of the tour is not) so I think they’re hoping that makes this workable. With the amount of ads I’ve already seen for the show I think they know Wolf Trap is a stretch but also this is the exact type of show they love to book out there.
Might finally pull the trigger on Wolf Bros this summer

Any rumors on who’s going to headline Iron Blossom this year? Really hard for me to see where they’d take it from here, Hozier, Noah Kahan, & Lord Huron are almost all that indie folk style has to offer in terms of headliners that could conceivably play Richmond, VA & would push tickets.
Zach Bryan is probably too big? So some combination of The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Tyler Childers, Vance Joy, & Boygenius?

my thought had been VW/Childers with Fleet Foxes and Brittany Howard subbing. Lucy solo in the undercard

peeking at last years lineup and amending my answer; Fleet Foxes-Brittany Howard one day and Jason Isbell-Lucy Dacus the other

I’d agree that Zach is too big at this point, but Tyler and Mumford are good guesses.
I’m hoping for some crossover from Hinterland like VW, Orville, Lizzy, and Ethel.
Maybe they take a swing at Mitski? Both of her shows at MPP sold out instantly, so she can definitely move tickets.
This is out of the box, but what about either Charli or Kacey? Both are apparently going on tour later this year.
Do we know if this will still take place in August?

I think the first one is closer to the size to expect. Hozier-Kahan are big draws
were they booked in 2023 or 22 though? Just a huge difference especially for Noah. My friend had connects last year, I can try reaching out to see if she knows anything

Honestly, I’d be interested in most headliners they could get from that style other than Kahan, Hozier, & Lord Huron lol. Think I’ll probably end up going this year
Ooh maybe Florence + The Machine as a headliner possibility?
I’d love that. However, I think Florence has wanted to take a long break after the Dance Fever tour. Probably won’t hear from them for another year or two :/

Boygenius apparently said at tonight’s shows that they’ll be going away for the foreseeable future ☹️

The Chappell Roan show at The National has been moved to Browns Island
those who got the half off Browns Island season pass like xfinitypass are eating good. I’ve almost spent that $225 just on Gizz Ween and now Chappell. Excited to see her though and I hope they move enough tickets to make Brown’s feel pretty full, it’s quite a steep capacity jump
