Makes sense. Bonnaroo is announcing tomorrow. I would have to think they have to announce soon in order to compete with the other fests. They could be waiting for AM to release a single and/or an album announcement.

I just ask that whenever it is released, the poster and font choices look a whole lot better than last year. Seriously I wish last years poster leaked because I really don't think anyone would have believed it.

Fonts? (sigh)....ok, putting it on the list.
Tell them that all the kids are really into comic sans.

Seriously though. Last year's poster looks like it was created by a 5th grader who just discovered PowerPoint for the first time.

Seems so trivial but presentation matters. Doing things like putting out a MS-Paint poster and replacing a beloved hangout spot with a couple of stacked up dumpsters gives off the message that less effort is going into the Fest.

It’s fine, you don’t like the poster. I got no problem w that. I think it’s a little bit funny though that I’ve never heard that complaint anywhere but on here.

That complaint was all over the firefly fan page on Facebook.

Rumors are running rampant that AM will be on the Bonnaroo lineup. A reputable AM source on Reddit said that although he doesn't know anything about them playing Bonnaroo, he knows info about their other festival appearances and announcements really soon, possibly tomorrow. We could be getting more than just the Bonnaroo lineup tomorrow. Maybe Firefly drops their lineup tomorrow too?

I'm feeling pretty good about those three being there.
I know it'd be wise not to get greedy, and nothing against the great Jack White, but I would prefer a different #2 on this. It would be 3 headliners that are everywhere this summer (assuming Arctic announced a bunch of dates), and 2 rock repeats for this fest.
Green Day would slide well into that #2. So would The Who.

I really want to see Jack White, but The Who would be really cool and way different from any other festival lineup. Green Day would be cool but it just doesn't seem like they are playing anything this summer.

According to Launchy over on the Roo board, Firefly has one headliner that's better than any of theirs (Em, Killers, Muse).
I'm going to assume it's one of the 3 discussed previously (Arctic Monkeys, Jack White, Tame Impala), but if it's not...things could get pretty exciting!

I highly doubt Firefly is going to share two of Gov Ball's headliners. Especially considering that one is an AEG fest and the other is a Live Nation fest.
That being said, Arctic Monkeys seem very possible/probable:
I know radius clause etc, etc. and they've been discussed but if Firefly has a number 1 over Eminem (if that is what is meant by better than anyone Bonnaroo has) then U2 is set up perfectly to headline Friday or Saturday.

U2-Eminem-Arctic Monkeys maybe?
I’m almost positive the better headliner than Roo thing is about Arctic Monkeys
Firefly can't afford U2 and Eminem. Launchpad was probably talking about Arctic Monkeys. If Roo didn't book anyone ahead of Eminem, I doubt Firefly will. AM isn't enough to get me to the woodlands personally. Hopefully there is still something decent for the third headliner.
there is a very short list of acts that could single handily get me to any fest, let alone a day, and as much as i love AM and their set last time they were here they are not one of those acts.

I'm saying, it's Radiohead. It only makes sense to book the best headliner ever to wash out the taste of 2017's bucket of slop headliners. Believe in something.
03/14 - Thievery Corporation 04/25 - Black Country, New Road 05/04 - In Flames, Gatecreeper 05/10 - Modern Life is War 05/21 - Spite, Bodysnatcher, Thrown 05/29 - Knocked Loose, Loathe, Show me the Body, Speed 06/02 - Bush 06/22 - George Thorogood 06/23 - Dillinger Escape Plan, Deadguy, Candy, Carbomb

If you could pair them with Bon Iver or Tame it would probably get me there for a day.
