Went to Firefly in 2014 and with it being the only large scale camping festival on the East Coast, I hope they finally put together a lineup worth returning for. You have to think with the attendance this year (or lack thereof), Goldenvoice puts together a lineup that's a little more Coachellaesque. Should be interesting to see if Beyonce ends up on the lineup next year.
Bruce Springsteen - Kendrick Lamar - Arcade Fire - Tame Impala would have me ecstatic
ik its not likely but i dont think its out of the realm of possibility. They've proven they can go after big names, kendrick and tame have both played before, and arcade fire make too much sense.
Demographics wise Hangout and Firefly are 1st cousins
I don't know because I only watched some of Muse. But the fact that half the crowd knew the words and looked more like a 25-35 demographic, I'd say Hangout 4 years ago maybe.
Id imagine it was per day. It was pretty easy to get in front of the soundboard for all of the headliners though, and getting to 20 people back or so was amazingly easy for both Bob Dylan and Muse. Its hard to tell with this festival because Sunday is always fathers day but Sunday was much emptier than Friday or Saturday, and Saturday was noticeably the most full. Dont know if thats just because it being Saturday and easy for people to come with a day pass, or because The Weeknd and Chance drew so many fans. The Weeknd felt like the most packed set of the whole fest by far.

Probably a little bit of both. The Weeknd and Chance are big draws right now. It makes sense they'd have the most packed night.

LOL. But it's true. Maybe not the whole festival because I only got to see Muse. But there were plenty of cameras on the crowd. It was way older than any Hangout crowd I saw since probably 2014. It was more like an ACL age crowd at that set.
