Todays the last day to get a ticket before the lineup comes out and prices go up in case anyone's been putting off buying one. Hoping that means the lineup is coming tomorrow but not confident about that :/
Also unrelated, and probably not gonna happen, but I have this weird feeling we'll see Cocteau Twins on the lineup. Again, I know it's unlikely.
any real reasoning to think this? don't want to get my hopes up for that.
Not really. I've observed slightly more coverage of Cocteau Twins/Elizabeth Fraser in few blogs recently. That doesn't mean anything at all - but it's just a hunch.
The lack of committal to the 8th as a release date doesn't make me too optimistic for a lineup release tomorrow, but who knows.
I'm assuming pretty much anyone playing Bonnaroo is out for the Porto edition. The fests were on different weekends last year.
Yeah I had my days mixed up but I def think Thursday makes more sense than tomorrow. Since they're stopping ticket sales today the lineup has gotta be end of this week or beginning of next week though. Can't see them just not selling tickets for an extended period of time for no reason.

Probably because of the Massive Attack tour, I think that was her first "tour" in a decade or so.
If Cocteau Twins ever happens I would drop everything to see them

I just wish Fraser and Guthrie could make up and make this reunion happen.

Crazy to think they entertained the idea of a 50+ tour ending with Coachella in 2005 and dropped out at the last minute. Sometimes I entertain the idea of them closing with Frou Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires at Primavera and my heart melts.

That's my favorite song of theirs.
Maybe at some point, they will decide to tour again.

Same! Though Victorialand has been my go to album lately when I want to listen to them.

Can't/won't believe Frank until I see him on the poster and there's been some Strokes buzz in the last couple of weeks tough it'd be weird having them as the biggest name for the 15th AND the 20th aniversary, especially after the kind words towards Casablancas and Hammond projects. Lizzo played last year so she's ruled out.

lizzo was in bits last year, I don't think a move to one of the main stages would be out of the question. You have a serious lack of women in that top 8. forgot about the strokes thing, hope we avoid them.

You're right about Lizzo but seeing that she's headlining Govs Ball and even Lollapalooza (?) she wouldn't accept a lower spot over here, right? And idk what happened over there but here stock over here hasn't grown that much. Disclosure played @ Pitchfork on 2013 and came back the next year closing Mordor but they're a different kind of act.
re: lack of women: as long as they keep the 50-50 thoughout the whole line-up they will pass. My two cents: kind of weird that 8 of the 9 big names are so clear. There's someone who's not playing and some Kacey Musgraves/Megan instead.
