Any one know if tickets bought through DICE can be resold again? Just got a notification for tickets but I don’t want to be tied to them if anything happens

Yeah the waiting list on DICE is really neat, and if the event is sold out and has a waiting list you can refund it instantly - so no need for any secondary ticket marketplace or anything.

Can you transfer to a specific person or can you only “refund”?

I got a notice at 2am that I got tickets through the waitlist. I didn’t see the notice until 4 hours later, though, so I guess I’m back at the back of the line.
Just got on the wait list for two tickets for Barcelona. My girlfriend and I have been in Croatia and will continue traveling Europe through June 2021.
Excited to hit my first European festival (hopefully!)

Assuming you are usually in the US, a great time to be traveling in Europe and not here!

No kidding. It’s surreal being out here as compared to California. I’d say one in five people wearing masks outside. Half on a bus. Business as usual
There is no way this happens as scheduled. I miss the time earlier this year when we naively convinced ourselves that fests might be a possibility in 2021.

Re: fests in 2021 Fwiw I work with an epidemiologist and she seems to think we will be able to have fests in some capacity in May. Obviously that is one person’s opinion and I am personally more pessimistic about the timing than her but I don’t think it’s unrealistic for this to happen given that it’s in Europe. Assuming we have multiple widely available vaccines in Jan/February I see Q3 as reasonable for 2021.
From what I know of is that multiple festivals in Europe are trying to work together to secure a 'normal' but small summer. No mass gathering but small sized and controlable happenings depending on the situation looking forward. They're looking to get a normal pre-covid summer in 2022. If those smaller events cannot happen well.. The festival landscape might look completely different by then cause it's not looking particulary well.
A widespread vaccin is not a thing that is going to happen anywhere before March/April tbh.

europe probably gonna be behind in the vaccine logistics process if I had to guess.
If a festival can survive until 2022, I would be laser focused on a normal/bigger than usual in terms of attendance 2022 and anything that puts that in jeopardy shouldn’t be done I think
