Hated the spots i was in during the first couple rounds but like my middle-end of draft for sure. Good luck this year guys!
I was ninth. It was about as weird and brutal as I expected. Ended up going RB-RB-RB and feel zero confidence about that. Yahoo projects me going 1-12 this season, so at least I can count on one win.
sorry about missing it. no real reason, just quacking dropped the ball. I'll be much more active during the season, promise. That said, it's Julio-time.
Half my team are Packers players, so my success depends on the arms of Aaron Rodgers. I have Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams, and Mason Crosby. I tried to also get Martellus Bennett but someone else grabbed him before I had a chance.
I have a good feeling about them this year, though.
The rest of my team is slight sleepers. I'm hoping that Beast Mode comes back with a bang since he should have a better O line in front of him. I'm hoping Adrian Peterson can reestablish himself as an RB1 for my Saints. This league heavily favors defenses, so I think Seattle will give me some real points. I also have some bench players that have high reward/bust chances. Should be a good season. EDIT: Or I will crash and burn
The Titans were a weird team to hitch my wagon to this year. Take me to the promise land Nashville! I'm obviously doomed though considering I was graded a B (D- or F last year) and projected to go 10-3.
I guess we shouldn't have laughed at maximus taking Zeke 4th after all. Still probably could have picked him up a little later.
This.
I knew he was going to get the TRO through. Cowboys' twitter insiders knew it too.
There was no way he'd have been around for my next pick either, at 25. Shit a half season of Zeke coming in at full health in November for the playoffs with a strong contingency plan is still better than LeSean McCoy or Jay Ajayi imo. M. Gordon and D.Freeman were the only people i was considering at 4 other than Z.
Yes? That said, I lost by about 0.5 points in Week 1 and 1.5 last week, both on weird kicker situations decided in the last seconds of Monday Night Football. All I ask is the next person blow me out by 50 points so I don't have to agonize over another brutal loss.
still early in the season but thank god Jesioneka took Howard the pick before I was leaving me with Gurley.
edit: goddammit should have 5 tds
Yeah, my draft was weird. I remember not liking anyone on the board in Round 2 when I picked. I thought Gurley was washed up and still on a bad offense, and I shy away from drafting rookies (like all those Round 2-3 RB's).
I knew Howard would be on a bad team in Chicago, but figured that he still produced last year. I don't think anyone really saw Tarik Cohen coming. Didn't love the pick, but felt fairly good about it at the time.
The draft matters a lot in the Thunderdome, and I'm still feeling like I blew it. Losing by one point on average over the last two weeks hasn't helped either. We'll see, still early.
This has been a nutty fantasy year. Alex Smith #1 overall. Watson #2 when he didnt even start the year. Hunt, Gurley, Fournette the top 3 flex guys in a 0.5 ppr. Duke Johnson, Chris Hogan, Chris Thompson, and Stefon Diggs are all top 20 guys? Not to mention the injuries that have blasted a lot of guys (Greg Olson IR AND Charles Clay going down is brutal for me). Good luck the rest of the way fellaz and lady(s?).
