Were on 27th street, between 23rd and 24th. Prob would be open to roaming around though.
Ah, cool. OK, so, the Bohemian Beer Garden was a good recommendation. You're also pretty close to Mosaic, which is good if you're looking for a more chill vibe. The Sparrow is right around there, too, and that's been a good late-night spot for me and my friends after Randall's Island festivals. The Letlove Inn and the Bonnie are another good couple of pubs around there.
In terms of roaming, I'm kind of partial to Flattopps on Ditmars - it's got a bit of a retro vibe (they have an X-Men arcade machine and, last time I was there, a NES set up with Super Mario Bros. 3) and a kind of dance-y vibe on weekend nights. I'll also put in a good word for Diamond Dogs on 31st Avenue, and not just because it's my local.

Awesome, thanks for the info!
Get some BBQ at the Strand. If they have the fried man and cheese balls get 2
Definitely going on Sun. Waiting to see what set times are on Fri so I can pop over quickly to see FJM and War On Drugs (as much as one can "pop over" to Randalls Island). I imagine Sunday will still be the least crowded day even though The XX and The Killers are both there.

I haven't eaten at the Strand in a bit, but for BBQ, I'm more partial to Butcher Bar on 30th Avenue. Their burnt ends are the shit.
My absolute favorite is Hometown in red Hook. NY had been absolutely killing it with BBQ the last few years, which makes my move to Colorado that much more disappointing
I was kind of upset I wasn't going to be able to make this but Father John Misty just announced an outdoor show on the Buffalo waterfront for $5 the day before Pano...gonna hit that instead.
Its really going to be hilarious when Global Citizen drops. Although luckily, I don't think that will be till the week after.
im gonna guess and say that The Weeknd is headlining Global Citizen. Regardless after seeing Byrne this weekend and realizing how absolutely amazing that show was, I think Sunday of this fest is in the running for the best day of any festival in the country this year with the main competition being Saturday of Coachella

Cardi B seems like a good fit for Global Citizen, although I’m not sure what’s so hilarious about getting pregnant, having to drop Panorama, then doing a make up date in the fall.

Global Citizen Fest sucks logistically from all the stories I heard, the qualitative experience at Pano is bound to be better (in case of booking overlaps).

This is how I feel. Global Citizens is an absolute clusterfuck.

The last 2 times I did Global Citizens I got a great spot right up front of the stage, but I also had to get there at like 11am and wait on line for like 4 hours. I'm way too old for that shit now. If I were to ever go back, I would just fork up the $150 for a VIP ticket.

Wait, I was just looking at Migos tour schedule and it logistically makes no sense. Their tour with Drake kicks off on a Thursday in Utah, then they are scheduled the very next day to play Panorama, then the very next day they are in Denver. And 3 weeks after that they are back in NYC for 4 arena shows.

Are you concerned that the 4 hour flight will effect their ability to mumble and yell things on a stage for 25 minutes while a DJ plays their tracks?

In 20 years they'll have to bring back Behind the Music for a Migos episode
Just in case everyone didn't have enough chances to see The Killers, they're playing Terminal 5 tonight as part of the Adult Swim upfront. Private show but, still, that's the 6th area date in 9 months.
