Also, tickets haven't tanked yet on Stubhub. I think the tickets come out to more after fees on Stubhub right now.
Just saw the official afters were announced. Maaaaan now I'm even more bummed about not going. Mall Grab at Elsewhere on Friday, Discwoman at Le Bain and Avalon Emerson, Mike Servito and DJ Python at Elsewhere on Saturday and Moodymann at Le Bain on Sunday sound so good.

LIKE: The lack of conflicts. Yaeji is the only artist I really, really want to see that I won't be able to.
DISLIKE: - The first half of Friday. There is literally nothing there for my tastes (I really did try to get into everybody in the lineup, y'all) before Charlotte Gainsbourg at 5:45. Friday, in general, is really weak, for me. I'm starting to wonder if I should have done the two-day pass. - Some of these short-ass set lengths. 50 minutes for The xx, SZA, St. Vincent, and Father John Misty? Ugh.
Here's what I'm looking at:
FRIDAY: Maybe work a half-day? > The Lab > Charlotte Gainsbourg > The War on Drugs > Father John Misty > The Weeknd
SATURDAY: Lo Moon > Jay Som > Sigrid > Pvris > Japanese Breakfast > St. Vincent > SZA > Janet Jackson
SUNDAY: Downtown Boys > Shannon and the Clams > Chicano Batman > Rex Orange County > Greta Van Fleet > Mount Kimbie > David Byrne > Fleet Foxes > The xx > Odesza > The Killers
I almost bought a 3day pass on stubhub last week - there was one available for $180 before fees. anyone have a guesstimate how low they'll go? That said, I have my fingers crossed that I'll win tickets again this year
I'm only going sunday but this is what my schedule is looking like:
Shannon & The Clams > Chicano Batman > Robert Delong > Rex Orange County > Greta Van Fleet > Mount Kimbie > David Byrne > The Lab > Moodymann > The XX > Odesza > Helena Hauff > Nora En Pure
I won VIP passes to this but can't go. I'm planning to pick them up from Will Call early Friday and sell them. If anyone on here wants a great deal, let me know with a PM and we can work out a meet up.

I have to kind of laugh at the weather forecast, right now. I know it's far out and nothing is accurate given that, but I have *never* seen a 15-day weather forecast in this city predicting 9 straight days of thunderstorms. Are these the end times?

annnnd of course I have 4 outdoor shows in the next 10 days. I'm pleading to the universe for these forecasts to drastically change.
The article does have important info, though: "Ormond said there is little cross sales between the older-leaning Panorama and Firefly, even with their proximity. Both will remain in operation."

I should learn to read better. I also thought they were moving the festival to mid July but it was actually just the date on the story.

It's allll goood, I guess the narrative of this festival absolutely failing is crumbling a bit. Tickets are hovering around face on StubHub a little more than week out.

Damn that Sunday run of Shanti Celeste > Laurel Halo > David Byrne > Fleet Foxes > Moodyman/The XX > Helena Hauff is fucking niceeeee. Other days look alright, but not super exciting. If this fest really does continue I hope we can get some 2016/2017 levels of perfection.

It's so good. I'm so bummed about missing that I'm tempted to fly out and say fuck it.

Dude same. Too lazy to check if it's been posted already, but there's a contest on BrooklynVegan for a flight, hotel and tickets. Might be worth entering
