Welp, no longer in for this. Sorry folks; have lots of fun!
Let me know if you hit any BK Mirage shows soon; def my new favorite venue and they book a lot of techno and house. Not sure if its your thing, but pretty stoked for Green Velvet there.
That's definitely on my venue list for New York. Green Velvet and Carl Craig are always a good time. The upcoming Innervisions, Afterlife and Paradise events look pretty good.

Anyone a Soulection fan who can point me toward some good tracks to check out? Given that it's a collective, and all, I'm having trouble narrowing things down as I try to decide whether to check them out on Friday.

I know Sango heads Soulection, so I'd explore his music a bit.
Was debating going Friday and Sunday but now only doing Sunday. Father John Misty and The War On Drugs would be cool but don't feel like having to deal with the crowds of uninterested Migos/Weeknd fans during their sets. Plus a 50 min set time is short for both those acts, don't see why they can't at least get an hour.
I'm in the same boat. Sunday is great and I'm going. Have been trying to convince myself to go Fri/Sat but just can't. Saw WOD at Mountain Jam and that was 90 min and the crowd was into it, so I will just have to live off of that for a while.

Well Father John Misty should have a great crowd on the side stage as it turns to night.
TWOD are in a tough spot, but they are pros. The huge screens and great sound will allow me to stand back a bit for them and away from the Migos kid campers talking over the set.
Starting to really feel like Migos aren't showing up to this. I don't even know who they could get to replace them at this point. A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi, Missy Elliot I guess would be equal subs. Brockhampton, although they might still be tied to Founders. Can't really think of anyone else in the hip-hop genre.

Maybe I'm wrong, but based on what I'm seeing on the resale market (both stubhub and FB page) it seems like both Friday and Sunday have found their grove as day passes go and Saturday is a cratering hole. I'm sure Friday will be full and Sunday's stacked rock lineup has found it's fans, but as suspected Janet Jackson at the Sat Night headliner seems really miscalculated still.
First year I am seeing 3 day passes going below $150.
Really wish I could find some cheap Sundays for a couple of friends that are asking. I’ve made some offers on the Facebook group but I haven’t seen anything below $100

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. I see one guy on there selling a 3 day for 125. Not a bad deal if you wanna throw in 25 extra and see St. Vincent or something.
If you would say that on the subreddit, I would lose track on how many downvotes you'll get
Checking and comparing prices on StubHub, the only day that is below face value is Saturday, the rest of the 2 days have not drop the prices yet.
Stubhub is not really a good barometer for this festival. The prices didnt drop there the previous two years either, because not a lot of people buy tickets for this.
Last I looked only 20 some odd three day passes were even listed on stub. Compare that to other festivals with thousands of listings.
How do they keep getting such high billing at fests while being known as a terrible live act? Do their fans just not care as long as its "lit"? I don't know anyone who has seen them live and been impressed.

Maybe it's the adrenaline rush that comes with knowing you might get stabbed.

Yes.
That's modern rap nowadays: look at how many soundcloud rappers just yell over their tracks, or don't even bother rapping and spend more time hyping up the crowd.
