They were sued for inciting a riot at one of their concerts, at which multiple attendees were stabbed. That's what I was referring to - no need for code, as it's a matter of public record:

Sigh. You guys, I wasn't saying anyone is *actually* going to get stabbed at Panorama. Someone asked why fans are so intensely into Migos when they've garnered a reputation as a shit live act. I said the stabbing thing as a joke, meaning for it to serve as referential humor due to the incident to which I linked above. This was, in essence, the use of hyperbole for intended comedic effect, as getting stabbed at concerts is such a rare occurrence that I assumed anyone reading would see it as deliberately over-the-top and, therefore, not in earnest.
In this case, however, it seems that, by choosing to "assume," I made an "ass" out of "u" and "me." That I was not successful in my attempt at humor, I apologize - I do not tell jokes professionally, and it appears that my skills therein are lacking, particularly in a written format that lacks the type of conveyance of tone that can come with the spoken word. But, again, my intention was never to indicate that I believe someone will be stabbed during, before, or after Migos' set at the Panorama festival this weekend.

The only reason anyone should dislike the Migos is they started an avalanche of 2018 double albums absolutely no one asked for. I cut Culture II down to like 10 songs in my Spotify. Would be cool if Cardi pops out for "Motorsport," *love* her verse on it
Friday: Thunderstorms, strong early; storms can bring flooding downpours, large hail and damaging winds
So, not the best forecast, but hopefully it holds off until after 11PM. The grounds could be rough for Saturday though.
Will be interesting to see if "large hail" makes them stop a set.
Where did that forecast come from? I'm just curious. I tend to look at several - weather.com, Weather Underground, Dark Skies, and the National Weather Service - and most of them have just scattered thunderstorms throughout the festival hours, with only, like, .14 inches of rain predicted for that time. The National Weather Service did mention the hail, but "particularly in the western half of the area," which, for them, extends pretty far into Jersey.
I think we're not in terrible shape. Also, it should be pointed out that there were heavy thunderstorms predicted for last night pretty much up until last night, and we got some light-to-moderate rain, with outdoor events like the Julien Baker/Courtney Barnet Prospect Park show still happening.
Anything can happen, of course, and I could be totally wrong, but I'm relatively optimistic, at this point.
Looks like there is going to be a small sponsored stage.
I might be completely wrong, Cloves and Lo Moon doing second sets again later in the day might be another sign Saturday's not selling very well.
Lolla has the same thing this year. I assume it's similar to the Toyota Den (which is returning) in which artists stop by and do 3-4 song sets for whoever has gathered. It's a supplement to their main sets, and not really an indication of ticket sales, one way or the other.

Fair enough. I just thought it odd that Saturday was the only day where artists who were already performing had extra sets. I was looking for a reason, maybe there wasn't one.

Firefly had the same Bud Light Dive Bar stage this year. Pano announced it a few weeks back. It's actually a cool place to see a second set and they give up some cool stuff.
That crazy forecast came from Accuweather this morning. Still says it, but who knows. Hopefully its a nice night.

Day 1, y'all.
Daniel Caesar > Charlotte Gainsbourg > The War on Drugs > Father John Misty > The Weeknd
I'll be in a t-shirt with a unicorn riding a dinosaur on it that says "To the disco!" and a green sun hat (and a navy blue poncho, if it comes to that). High five me.
