And yes I cannot believe the way they handled Wayne’s cancellation. CLEARLY was known about prior, there was no reason to hide this, nor is there any excuse for an hour without music at a MUSIC FESTIVAL in New York City.

Eh. We got a refund for the Day 1 cancellation, and I had a pretty great day yesterday. I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite festival experience, but I don’t feel fucked just yet. Talk to me again if David Byrne cancels.

I mean with David Byrne, the xx, Fleet Foxes, and the Killers (and no rain in the forecast) it’s going to be a really good day even without Greta. Also excited for Rex Orange County and Mount Kimbie and will finally see Odesza so Greta canceling really doesn’t bug me that much.

You could’ve seen seen some of Floating Points. It’s not like there was literally no music at the festival without Lil Wayne.

Was it easy to get a good spot?
Not as easy as it used to be. More like the way any other fest is now. Gotta get there a little before the start of the set to grab good real estate.
They put this white fence barrier right down the center of GA and the VIP sections are way bigger (not nearly enough in there to justify it). So its like about the same size crowd as last year, but in a smaller area. Makes it feel real packed. Sections of deep mud dont help.

Chicano Batman and Rex Orange County were dope. Robert DeLong was uneven. What I saw of Mount Kimbie was chill, but a little too down beat. Ppl talking over the music. Left early to be up front for Byrne.
