Question for you all - have any of you used the Lyte service for tickets? If so, how was it?
I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a two-day pass for this year, so I signed up for a Sunday single ticket but I'm #118 in line. Will I have a chance to get a ticket? I'd rather go through this as opposed to paying somebody on StubHub or whatever. I appreciate any insight you can provide!
If they keep announcing acts like Gary Clark Jr, you’ll be even more likely to get that ticket... am I right?

I wasn't able to get Saturday passes. Signed up on Lyte right away and was #113. Now I'm at the number one spot. It seems like once announcements started I moved up fast.
Not sure they are releasing a new album this year (although Scott has talked about working on one). Scott and Grant just announced a new side project album called Mastersystem Mastersystem – “Notes On A Life Not Quite Lived”
Yes! Let the k2b bookings commence. (Although I think a lot of us expected them on the lineup as they were starting to get big and have roots in the area.)
Listened to their “old” album all day yesterday as I had been meaning to check them out, and loved it.
In my mind, they’re what you would get if you blended the Low Anthem and original Ra Ra Riot into a blender.
My point being that we might be able to count out all the other Cambridge artists. Which is a bit of a bummer

My understanding of the announcement is that they will be the only one. I think it’s fair to rule the others out.
Not that there were any other bands on the Cambridge lineup I expected to play Newport this year. I was hopeful for FAK, but their tour dates made it dubious.
