I'm creating the Shadow saga as my series, the show will be called Ender's Shadow but cover all the books on that half of the series.
If you're familiar with the book Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow is the exact same story, but told through Bean's perspective rather than Ender's. The series goes on to Bean's life on Earth after Ender's Game.
If you're not familiar with Ender's Game, he's a more in depth, but still very brief description of what my show will be about if you care to read it:
The story is set in the future, Humans have battled an alien race and we won the first war. After the first war humans start recruiting the most gifted kids from around the world to take to a battle school so that the most gifted humans are working together to fight the aliens. Bean is the main character, and his DNA was altered by a scientist so that he's basically the smartest person in the world when he's still only 6 years old. Ender isn't as smart as Bean, but he's basically the other most gifted kid in battle school who happens to be a better leader/commander than Bean. Bean thinks of Ender as his rival for a while, until he realizes that Ender really is the Earth's best chance of winning the war and decides to help him as much as possible. Bean ends up being Ender's backup as they command the human's battle against the aliens. Ender is able to command the humans to victory.
Bean realizes that all the greatest military minds are up in space fighting the aliens, but after the aliens have been defeated, conflicts happening on Earth will begin to be a bigger deal. Bean goes to Earth to help end the wars that start there.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Clarissa was Michael's girlfriend at the time of his death. She blames Alex for Michael's drowning. Clarissa hasn't exactly gotten over it since then, making her frosty toward the others on the island except for her friend Nona. It also makes her easy fodder for the Sunken; they'll possess her and whisk her around the throughout the show.
