Potent: When I said I wanted LLL in to stop her skating by, I was responding to Danbob's question about why her in particular. I had her and Maddog to choose from. Of those two, of course I'd pick her. Between her and Zolah, I'm not so sure. I wouldn't mind, but it's up to you.
I'd almost rather you put Danbob back in since I'm a little sketched out by him coming out. Just barely, but LLL coming back out doesn't mean all that much to me. It was just a return to the way things were before. Overall, it's too early to say who is Mafia. It's just better for the Inspector to have more things to look at than less. Do you. If you move to LLL, I won't move off or anything.
If you are so "sketched" by me... Who would you have rather have seen drop out?

Much more movement than usual for this early in Day One. It probably means something, but as of yet I'm not sure what.
I don't know left from right yet, but there's a lot of content to sift through already. Once we start getting more solid information I think the first three pages will be more useful than in most games.

Lotta silence since the runoff began. We usually say that means the mafia is sitting back and watching happily. Does anyone see a reason for thinking otherwise?
From who would revote based on who drops out, LLL/Jaz, Carini/ZIG, Dan/Zolah, JR/Potent, I don't love the idea of JR and Potent both being in the runoff, and getting their vote back.
I feel like Zolah made the same move that ZIG made last go around trying to "shake it up", so I'm brushing it off for now, even though others seemed to disagree with the move.
Pablo's move bothered me a little more than Zolah, but he seems to be doing the same thing.
Don't really have a read on JR, and Potent seems to have got the short end of the random voting stick (similarly to Jaz last game).

I have come to read the 5way in any game of mafia, as a way to attempt (mafia) subtraction by addition. It's already been detailed by other players this game, but the idea that you can add in and take out as the runoff widdles down.
All that means to me is town potentially landed more than 1 mafia in the runoff. Or not.
I'm thinking er have mafia in the runoff, maybe more then 1 unless Danbob was the extra that slid out in the movement
What makes you think that?
We had 4 in the runoff: you, JR, Zolah, and Potent. Pablo expanded to 5 which I spoke earlier of often being a tactic used by mafia to dilute the pool and increase their survival odds. Under my theory at least 1 maybe 2 of the original 4 are mafia. I'm not in the way of having any idea who yet.
So, it's between Zolah and Potent for me. I do not have any particular concerns about either as of now.
It certainly wouldn't ring true for me to throw shade at Zolah for her runoff-breaking vote, since I did something similar as Town. I think that for Mafia to play the way she and I have brings an extra level of scrutiny that I do not expect Mafia to welcome. Tainted expressed angst over my vote. I would like to hear his thoughts on the moves Zolah and I have made.
out of the four, everyone seems to be feeling a little bit of heat based on their moves/the moves surrounding them, but he's kind of slipped by.
Yes, I slipped by, but it wasn't on purpose. I'm yet to have a reason to move my first vote and the only votes on me, prior to yours, were random.
More importantly, based on your own reasoning, you should not vote for me. You don't want Potent and me to get a free vote. Fair enough, but based on the same logic, why would you not want to give LLL and Jaz a free vote? They've both only voted once, and as long as I'm in the runoff, they can just one vote their way through Day 1.
Granted, it promotes my self preservation, but that's not my main goal here. I'd be more interested in gathering info on Day One than eliminating someone for being slightly more suspicious than the other three.
Actually, slipping by doesn't really describe my position. I'm here because of 2 random votes. 7 people got 0 or 1 random votes. There are 7 players here who did a better job of slipping by than me.

I wanted to see what pablo and tainted did based on that move. I knew I couldn't keep potent and zolah in on my own, and pablo wouldn't vote for himself.

Out of the four in the runoff, not everyone. Last game town lost because they got tunnel vision on who was most suspicious first, so I'm trying to spread it around a little bit to someone who doesn't have so much heat on them already.

I think there are reasons to vote for either other person in the runoff. However, JR faces the same choice as me, and if I vote for Pablo, JR has no choice but to vote for me. Therefore, it's in the town's benefit for me to vote for JR, to give him a choice between Pablo or me. My vote is not set, but for now...
Sorry, I'm heavily distracted today and yesterday because I went all basic bitch this summer and watched The Bachelorette. What a dumb broad. Peter was the clear choice there. Anyways.
I'm not moving yet. I don't have reason to. Once JR and Potent I may change my mind, but for now, I'm good.
