I get that too. As I am pretty much confirmed town this game, and my kids are in school, but I'm not coaching yet... I feel like I can say anything... Above all, I felt like LLL/Danbob are the shadiest. I could see SFA saying he voted out Maddog and stuck up for LD... That would totally benefit him most with Maddog's hissy fit out...

If LD was inspector (and I doubt it) this game is FUBAR. We really need some solid info. Because I'm reading like...
"Person A is attacking Person B, but screw Person A, because s/he's probably mafia, but Person B is attacking Person C, so screw Person B, because s/he's probably mafia."
"Person C is attacking Person D, but screw Person C, because s/he's probably mafia, but Person D is attacking Person A, so screw Person D, because s/he's probably mafia."

This is a bit off the cuff, but my current thoughts:
LLL is most suspicious to me right now, because I feel like she might be doing the "I'm mafia, but I need to look like town". Something is just reminding me of playing mafia with her recently. However, she could be 'trying' to look town because she's town.
Danbob is a little shady to me, because I thought he was a tad off, but I didn't want to go all "DANBOB IS MAFIA!" all over again like last game (when I was right, ) Then Zolah brought up a case against him and I realized it wasn't just me.
SFA was questionable to me for a long time because his posts could have been fluff. He's leaning town now, based on his thoughtful commentary.
Jaz and Potent are both close to 50/50 to me right now, but Potent's self vote is striking a chord with me over Jaz making an attempt to contribute today.
Seriously. After having been Mafia with me, do you really think I would have gone for Maddog doing what he did? That was about the stupidest Mafia move I have ever seen. It is so stupid, I can't help but think it was maybe genius. Or it was just fucking stupid.
Sorry. I've been drinking a little tonight. I'm not calling you a dummie, Maddog. Maybe you really guys really do have some master plan.
I've been mafia in a game where one mafia doesn't listen to another. You could very well have not gone for what Maddog did and still absolutely be mafia. I expect more of you.

At the risk of being told by Zolah that I'm not adding anything new to the discussion (another example of attitude in my opinion, JR), I'm going to reiterate my points here:
1. I'm town. My vote switch from LLL to LD D1R1 was explained and was consistent with my style when townie, I think. I don't like it when there's not much discussion and will frequently change my vote in those situations. Additionally, piggy pablo, this goes back to what you asked and I responded after I think Mafia 104. The town gets in trouble when people don't talk, and when we hold it against people who do talk.
2. That said, the whack points at me via a couple of direct and a couple of vague LD references. There is no denying that.
3. I think enough of us believe that Maddog is mafia, with his parting comment, that it adds extra scrutiny to Jaz vote switch. Jaz talked about being further away from the whack, 100% true, but he's also much, much closer to the person that most town believes was mafia.
4. Anecdotally, and personally, I felt like Jaz was sure of my status in a way that is only understood when you are a townie being put under the cross hairs. It felt like a narrative being created. Additionally, look at Jaz' first vote on the day, for SFA. That came 20 minutes after the whack was announced (give or take). I think he tried to put pressure on a vet to see if anyone would bite and it didn't work and so he quickly backtracked after SFA pushed back.
5. In the event that LD was inspector - and if you do believe he was inspector - do you find it more likely that he was whacked because he said my name, or because he piled on Maddog once he slipped out of the D1 runoff? If you believe that Maddog was mafia, that is a much more likely and tangible scenario, where you are completely guessing (incorrectly) on my status. And then that goes back to the Jaz/Maddog votes.
6. In any event, if Jaz and I are both town, or even if he is mafia, the fact that 6 of you are now voting for me is bad for the town, as it lets a mafia hide their vote on me. I feel pretty confident that SFA and LLL are town, and the mafia are two of Danbob/Pablo/Jaz/Carini. So yeah, I'm looking at Zolah and JR here.
7. In the end, I wish you all would have let me vote myself off instead.

Are you being serious here? I have the forth highest post count despite having been at a festival for 4 days of this game. Yesterday before I shut things down to get ready for bed there were 6 posts before 8pm, none of which I felt the need to respond to. Everyone starts posting last night after I've already shut things down for the night, so I'm just now reading the late Sunday posts.
If you weren't almost a cleared player in my eyes, this would really raise eyebrows with me. This happens to me every game I'm not Mafia. I'm either whacked early or Mafia turns things around to set me up and then the distraction turns into townies trying to defend themselves while Mafia sits back saying absolutely nothing.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I like this move from Zolah. I was most likely going to make it if she didn't, but I wanted to see that she would.

Part of why I suspected Danbob was because you and him had a few exchanges... And I found you inspector-ish, while I found him either shady or lazy. I did not want to vote with Danbob... So I opted to vote WITH you. If you are inspector, you better get to talking now... Because if I seen it, they've seen it. And if you're not inspector, you are mafia. Because I still feel like a fake is coming this game.
I thought this was the case as well, or it was you, but couldn't figure out why the hell one of you would let Danbob slip out of a run-off without more pressure if he was your name, so figured this Jaz, Potent thing was because you were trying to tie Dan in with one of them because they were pointed to by the LD whack. I made a post to the effect.

Who the hell knows at this point. I thought that there was probably an Inspector still alive who was staying on Jaz this whole weekend until the end(Zolah or Pablo), so despite Jaz sounding like a townie, stayed put. I don't know if there was a right choice at all in this run-off now.
