Jaz > SFA > null
Thank you!!! I am town for realz. Maybe i've got a ltitle tunnel vision but I feel i've been keeping all angles in mind and this is how I see it.
I was/am honestly fine with getting voted off this round if it narrowed things down better and put the mafia in a bind. But then i realized the mafia still had some wiggle room.

Yeah. I think it makes much more sense to lynch the guy that has mounting evidence against him. It seems we mostly agree there arn't two mafia left then the safest thing to do is vote off the person that's almost certainly getting negative attention next round.
1. Let"s say I'm wrong about Dan and the Mafia let me live. I'll likly be gunning for him in light of the fact we won't be getting much new evidence. Or mafia could whack me to set Dan up.
2. What if I'm right? Both Danbob voters could be out. Pablo will be gone. I'll likly get whacked or possible voted off if people are parnoid of me surviving to round 5. That leaves Dan and one or two players that have both said they think he's innocent. Which could end in a townie loss.
Voting Danboobs off first at least would inform us of a lingering question that folks in a possible round 5 would be divided over. Seems like the town's best step is to eliminate those types of things while they have the chance.
I'm not opposed to voting Danbob out. There's reason to believe he's town but that holds true for all of you. So I'm voting for the person I have least of a read on, and that's Pablo.
I was tempted to move to Dan at SFA's suggestion, but I feel like the best option really is to go for who I find most likely to be mafia. Pablo has read shady to me for several days and definitely shadier than any other living person. Watching him this weekend seemed more a desperate attempt to stay alive than to contribute to town.
My case against Pablo: 1. He has presented every other living player as potential mafia this weekend. When JR/SFA didn't stick he went Jaz/Dan. 2. Day 3 I suggested LLL and Pablo. Day 4 I suggested killing Pablo and Dan for the hopeful win. So he asked why I didn't kill Dan over LLL on Day 3. For real? 3. He said I bolded his text to ignore other text. Bold is to emphasis certain words, not to ignore other words. 4. Defends himself and Dan as being framed, so Zolah was mafia? (He turned on Dan shortly after). 5. Pablo said, "Some of you must be wrong, possibly lying." Of course someone is lying. This may be poor wording, but it's also a common error by players who are mafia for their first or second time.
Sorry I didn't post this over the weekend. I gave my brain a break so I could look fresh this morning. And the case against Pablo is stronger than it was before. It's possible he's town and floundering, but I'm pretty confident in my vote.

I was going to suggest Danbob should have to vote first and explain his reasoning. especially since half of his defense last round came from other players.
Definitely going to need a reread. I thought that Pablo would be the last mafia. On one hand jaz did switch off of mad dog day one. On the other hand SFA is not someone mafia would want to keep alive as a townie. He's also could be the "experienced player" LD was talking about in day 1. So yeah I'm gonna reread in the morning and hopefully get a better read on things.
As for myself - I'm not surprised mafia has kept me around for so long. I feel like I've been definitely set up. There's been so much heat on me this game it makes sense for mafia to keep me around.
Alright after my rereads I'm still not 100% sure and the game quite literally relies on the other townie and I making the right vote here. I feel like SFA has the stronger mafia case here. I believe that his argument with mad dog round one was likely staged to create a lot of distance.
First off, lets take a look at his reasoning for his initial vote on mad dog.
This isn"t based on much of anything substantial, so I willing to listen if my reasoning is wrong...
Going to vote Jimdawg for several reasons.
1. He's the only one of the 4 who's votes might be totally random. Zolah and Jaz's stacks were retaliation or could be excused as such. Potent's vote switch to LD could be him saving LLL. I'm NOT saying any of this is the case. Just explaining why I think it's a somewhat safer vote when I don't have much to go on.
2. While I didn't find his mistakes while voting all that suspicious, others do. If it's going to be an issue we might as well discuss it now before we have more solid info later in the game.
3.On a more selfish note, it seems the attention Jimdawg got for that mistake made him an easier target in the runoff. For better or worse, I know my vote is without malice. I might as well take it and deny a optional hiding spot for a Mafia vote later in the round. I also have a couple things i'd like to observe, which this vote allows.
4. I've read over the game twice and I don't see a legit reason anyone should be voted for. So we just gotta discuss our intentions and force a conversation that can be revisted later with more info.
This reads to me like he was setting up for a vote switch off of mad dog later in the round. He further sets up a potential vote switch by calling mad dog "too wild to be mafia".
Read over some things. Another thing of interest. Out of all of Maddog's talk of not freeing votes of the people in the runoff. He's ended up voting in a way that benefits him the most. The conventional thinking* being "It makes more sense to vote for Zolah in this situation because if I vote Maddog it only gives us info from 1 voter instead of 3."
Looking back this has been brought up several times this game. By Potent and Pablo. I know I've used this argument for my early votes a good bit too in the past.
What if the weird extension/last minute minute switch is because maddog saw an opportunity to up his chance of escaping the runoff?
Everyone makes self beneficial moves, especially earlier before people's opinions are really set in. But I'm fine with LD dropping out over zolah since we get more than just Carini as executioner.
So since the wheels on mad dogs wagon were coming off, I think instead of looking shady with a vote switch SFA starts arguing with to distance himself from mad dog and gain the towns trust. It worked for me too, for a decent amount of the game SFA was my strongest town read. Although looking back SFA didn't really start going after mad dog until the he was already extremely suspicious.
I like how he waited until he was out of the runoff to make his bold move...
I'm not afraid of being aggressive. If I die, fuck it. I'm trying to get a town win, that's first and foremost importance.
When we have three or more in a runoff, it may make more sense to be more evened out in vote counts. At this point, maybe town should take a chance. I think you're more likely Mafia. Who is gonna come save you?
I'm thinking we got Mafia that is experienced. People who know what they're doing, people who have seen me go aggressive before. At least one or two have been playing this for years.
I think that LD could definitely be hinting at SFA here. He's not a player that mafia would keep around as a townie. He is usually too good to leave alive. I know this isn't exactly concrete but it is worth pointing out.
So that's pretty much where my mind is at right now. I'm not 100% sure but unless something major happens after my vote I don't see myself moving. Really all that has been suspicious of jaz is switching off of mad dog - everything else he's done has read pro town to me.
