Yeah - I don't get it either. Usually I'd just be able to imagine who's playing anyway, but aside from the Laurelive lineup I don't see many ideas.
Only a couple crossovers from Gov Ball last year...but I could see maybe Margo Price, Tash Sultana, Middle Kids, or The Struts if they keep down that indie rock more than Jam path.
Have they announced when the lineup is coming out? This may be the year I finally drive the one hour to get there.
I tweeted them yesterday, and others have too...they've gone pretty much radio silent which makes me worry about it happening this year
They did post on January 1st that there is "Big new coming soon" so I don't think I would worry about it happening yet but it is weird they have gone MIA. They were replying people for quite some time that they were waiting on the last contracts to be signed and that was weeks ago.

Even though I’ve never gone, I’d be very sad if the festival didn’t happen this year. I have a few friends that go every year and sing nothing but praise about how it’s run.
Upstate festivals can’t seem to hold on and it makes me sad. Stop scheduling them in June, festival promoters! It’s nothing but storms and rain.

Like moten33 said, I don't know anything about it being cancelled. My wife would definitely shed some tears if this fest bit the dust. It's her favorite.
2021 08-07: Japanese Breakfast @ Union Transfer 09-08: My Morning Jacket / Brittany Howard @ The Mann 09-18: Soccer Mommy @ Union Transfer 10-01 thru 10-03: Austin City Limits Music Festival 10-19: Waxahatchee @ Union Transfer 10-27: Arlo Parks @ The Foundry 11-09: Squid @ Johnny Brenda's 11-17: Monophonics @ World Cafe Live 12-01: Caribou @ Union Transfer
An announcement of a future announcement regarding an even more future announcement?
Haha...my sentiments exactly...
Already 2 months behind last year, I'd imagine they'd know they have to get a lineup out soon to sell tickets and compete with other fests. Unless, of course, they think that there's not a lot of competition.

Nothing that I can see yet for classic rock. This is my last guess
Neil Young & Promise of the Real - Gov't Mule (2 Sets) - Tedeschi Trucks Band
Ryan Adams - As the Crow Flies - Michael Franti & Spearhead - Cheap Trick - Joe Russo's Almost Dead (Late Night) - Portugal. the Man
Drive-By Truckers - Rebelution - Griz (Late Night) - Moon Taxi - Deer Tick - Lake Street Dive - Tank & The Bangas - Trombone Shorty - Twiddle - Pokey LaFarge
Fruition - J. Roddy Walston & The Business - The Marcus King Band - Greta Van Fleet - Shakey Graves - Vintage Trouble - Hiss Golden Messenger - Marco Benevento
Whiskey Myers - Pink Talking Fish (Late Late Night) - BIG Something - Tom Hamilton's American Babies
Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, Jethro Tull (as mentioned), Dickey Betts announced he'll be touring this year, and U2 has a break that weekend traveling from Philly to Boston...
Probably delayed because of negotiations with Eminem.
And figuring out how to fit "Bonnaaroo East: Mountain Jam, A Collaboration with Live Nation" on the top line of the official lineup poster. And probably figuring out where to put the Kalliope trailer.
