Aaannndd that’s why I don’t come to this thread often
kpo, i wouldn’t get bent over it. It’s not the thread, and it’s not zaj. There is a legitimate divergence of opinion on Frank Ocean. Some people on Inforoo whose opinions I trust think he’s superb. Others say he’s boring or don’t get anything out of it. It doesn’t mean either opinion is necessarily wrong as they both exist fairly strongly. I don’t really listen to much crooning or R&B so I don’t have a dog in the fight.
The Weeknd is another’s polarizing figure on Inforoo. I saw a few minutes of him live once, and it wasn’t all that bad. But otherwise I could care less about him. And that was evident in the Hangout thread the year he played. But a lot of people again whose opinions I value disagreed 100% and mocked the thread when it was renamed Weaknd Warriors. You could see literal disdain from people who were aghast others didn’t like him being booked. That’s how shit goes sometimes.

I just hope it actually comes out tomorrow so I know whether or not I’m going this year. It’s the first time since my first year in 2012 that i didn’t purchase any type of presale or know for sure I’m going.
FWIW I don’t actually know if it’s coming out tomorrow, just guessing since Shaky is adding people and that one guy on reddit said the 20th.
I want it to be a train wreck so I can laugh about it. It can’t fall a whole lot farther because there isn’t tha much farther for it to go down. OTOH Expect another 8-10 random acts that most people wouldn’t mind seeing. For all the pap last year, they brought St. Vincent, Pussy Riot, Tash, Portugal, A.P&tfn, Kendrick, SZA, Slightly Stoopid, Greta Van Fleet and Sunflower Bean. It wasn’t enough to spend the money to travel for, but hopefully they will continue to throw some bones to the attendees.

It's always fun to laugh at a bad lineup, but I'd also like to make it out one year.
